Dr. Wilson Levy is so kind and knowledgeable. It’s so rare to find a male gynecologist who makes me feel comfortable and who I trust to be sensitive and understand my issues. He has made a difference in my life. I highly recommend him! The nurse and staff are also very kind and helpful. Things must have changed since these other reviews were written. Go here. It’s great!
These people don't talk to you about anything they are doing. They wouldn't answer any questions unless it was, "I'm not sure. I'm not your nurse, let me find them and ask for you," to which you will be left alone, unanswered, until another nurse who isn't yours comes to say the same thing. I wasn't even aware that they were giving me two separate antibiotics until they were taking me off of them. And, if they don't know what the issue is, they'll pretend like they do. I was told I was admitted for this reason, than that reason, only to be told right before discharge that it was a different reason completely. They ignored my complaints, and I left feeling worse and weaker than when I went in. They clearly have no care or sympathy for their patients, nor are they even concerned with actually solving your medical issues. They'll just pump you with medicines they aren't even sure you should have, because they don't even know the cause of your issues.
Wouldn’t even take a dying animal here. Went to the ER here in May 2020 after being ill for a week. At the time COVID was a major issue. I was already dreading going for medical help since most doctors refused to care for patients and prioritized COVID patients over all other emergencies, but after being unable to keep anything down and running a fever and being in pain I had a kidney infection that nearly caused me to go septic I had to go to the ER. The nurse was extremely nasty to me demanding I urinate in a cup even after I explained to her that I was dehydrated due to vomiting constantly the night before and therefore couldn’t give them a urine sample until after I was given fluids through my IV. Between the harsh treatment and all the COVID issues, being in this hospital made me feel like I was a waste of the hospital’s time. Hospitals are supposed to be compassionate and caring not treat people like they’re an inconvenience because they are sick or hurt
I was sent to CMH ER on 1/24/23 by urgent care. I waited in the lobby from 4:30 until 10:00 pm. Most of my treatment was done in the lobby! When I was finally brought in the actual ER I was sat on a bench where they attempted to give me an IV. Took 3 times until they were successful. There were no beds, no extra pillows no extra chairs. Staff were yelling at patients in the lobby. After an hour of sitting in the actual ER I was brought upstairs to my room. What an awful experience up there. Your staff is rude and there is no communication! When I was finally released no one brought me down stairs, like they use to in a wheelchair. I walked right out and down on my own. There is No HIPPA being followed in your facility at this time. There is no privacy for any patients. I also witnessed a man brought in from an ambulance, they actually brought him into the lobby on his stretcher and put him a wheelchair to wait with everyone else!! No husbands or wives or any family members were allowed in the actual ER with there family who were sick. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at CMH!!! And please stop blaming it on COVID. Doesn't excuse your unprofessional staff!! JMO. And also no staff member should be allowed to wear perfume. You are a hospital!!! Also, the public bathroom in the lobby of the ER, if you're going to put a Sharps container in there, come and empty it! It was full and there was blood on the sink!!! It was an awful experience!!
We have had nothing but good experiences at CMH until we had to deal with the ER about 3 months ago. It was a less-than-stellar experience. In contrast, earlier this week, we needed their services again. My wife was taken in immediately, evaluated, given every test exam and image taken as quickly as they could. The level of professionalism gave us the confidence she would receive the best possible care. And we did. Most of the specialists we see practice at Columbia and are excellent and caring doctors.
I have so many horror stories about this hospital it should be criminal. My mom was sent to the E.R in an ambulance, she has COPD and couldn't breathe. They kept telling her she was fine she was on oxygen. The problem was they never hooked up the Oxygen to the wall, it was just laying on the floor. Maybe before telling someone they're fine they just need to breathe and that they are hooked up to oxygen and not just laying on the ground. I'm not a doctor but you would think they wouldn't have missed that. My mom was taken in again they first told me she had a mild stroke. When I called to check on her they gave the wrong patients information. They told me my mother was in much worse shape and things were not looking good. I was absolutely freaking out crying on the phone then she realized she was talking about the wrong patient my mom only had an episode from vertigo!! Those are just two of the countless stories that I have from this god awful place. Unfortunately we don't drive so we are stuck getting negligent care from this "hospital". Please be careful if you have to go here. I would recommend your local witch doctor before this place.
After scheduling a mammogram and ultrasound 2 months ago that is supposed to be Thursday, they left me a reminder of my appointment for Wednesday without ever contacting me about changing this appointment! When I called they said the appointment was edited. I replied you just can't do that to people! I have asked for Thursday off. I cannot be off from work Wednesday, especially last minute! Now they rescheduled me for December! So done with CMH!
Docs and Nurses were great. I don’t recommend the CT Scan tech. What an unnecessarily unfriendly scummy person. He must not be from around here cause he was a total tool. Would go to another hospital just to avoid this idiot.
came in, I have a myriad of health issues and immunocompromisation due to a connective tissue disorder. I also have a history of fainting and I told them I felt faint on arrival. I've been in the waiting room for over 2 hours, they finally come to get a urine sample, I say I might need a wheelchair because I feel faint. the nurses' response? "it's only a few feet I'm sure you can make it." with a smug look on her face. while two wheelchairs sit right next to me. my response was that I have a history of fainting and I even have a Linq loop recorder implanted in my chest because of it. this is farther than just a few feet. I had to hyper zoom out my camera to include my legs. they are lucky I did not pass out or there would be a lawsuit as I have witnesses next to me. also apparently an ox level as low as 92% when my normal is 98-100 is not concerning. I hope I'll be okay
The bedside manner of the ER doctors in the evening leaves much to be desired to say the least. Particularly one short petite blonde haired so-called physician, if my son is in pain I’m bringing him to ER like a good parent should do. We have questions we have concerns and you will attend to them because that’s your job, you are not God and your word is not law. So don’t expect us to just take whatever you say as that, she had the audacity to act like we were bothering her and wasting her time. They should send her to the front line and Ukraine, go and help people there and maybe you’ll learn how to have more humanity.
