Expect to spend a few hours or maybe even all day here. The store is way bigger than it looks, and there’s so much to look at. The ladies working were very kind and welcoming. The prices were a bit on the high side, but there were a lot of unique pieces I’ve never seen before.
Very big shop with lots of vendors. Shop has very nice items but prices are high. Each booth is filled with similar items. Some vendors price tags are already faded from being there soo long. But conditionof merchandise is very good. Very cute small town with several antique shops, sadly can't compare to other shops because they are closed. I did not purchase anything because of high price. No one had a sale which would encourage you to purchase a item or several. Overall store is well stocked, organized and clean. Friendly service as you walk in but no one came around to see if we needed help. Almost all booth have locks so would have helped to ask and encourage to buy. Bathroom also has items for sale , cute but I wouldn't purchase.
Don’t let the size of the storefront fool you. This shop goes on and on! Located right on High Street amid cute shops and restored buildings, Comfort Antique Mall is a gem. Prices were a little high, there were no real bargains to be had. Staff was courteous and checked on us from time to time to see if we needed help locating anything specific. It’s a great place to walk down memory land or acquire a new piece for your particular collection. Give it a visit!
What a lovely store with many different shops inside. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and has tons of treasures to feast your eyes on, from jewellery to glass, ornaments, pictures, furnishings to name a few. You can lose yourself for a good couple hours in here ! Found myself this gorgeous vintage ring. Very happy I stopped in here after visiting San Antonio. Thank you for all your assistance in this purchase, much appreciated !! Also try the excellent restaurant next door !!
A hidden gem for us folks that are looking for antiques or those special decor items that the big box stores don’t have. A decorators candy land, highly recommend.
I could easily spend hours there gazing at the relics ... oh, I think I did. Bought a cool glass ceiling shade from the 1930s ... I need to find another one. My husband does not understand my need to incorporate "period pieces" into our evolving modern farmhouse decor. My two sons are horrified by all the changes but it really is their fault. We have a goose, three ducks, and four chickens thanks to them. Eggs anyone?
I had to photograph the few outstanding pieces I truly appreciated, enjoyed. Pricey tags, especially 1900-era hand painted lamps-lovely though..how about this"All-Horn" Lamp? This stained glass is highly colorful, fall-off $100. take it home! Why not Spin this Wheel-gaming wonder, lost to time.. I've never seen an entirely wood-made wringer over washing machine $795., odd farm tools- a Flax-Hetchel looks wickedly sharpened. * added 1/21/21: History of the Flax Hetchel Comb: They came in 5 sizes, wicked sharp spikes were driven thru a thick wooden handle with tin on it. They were used to literally comb flax, from the larger size - as shown in photo, to the smallest. The finer the "!teeth" of the comb the easier & smoother the Flax would be to weave!
Great place to browse. Good prices and the best staff. We got some good deals. Its a pretty big place. This is my favorite Antique store in comfort im updating my original post because I just have so much to say about this place. The staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable! This place is always just set up so nice and I have never left empty handed. They will also do their best to give you the best price possible. I have been coming here for several years now and I'm always happy to visit again.
Every vendor at this shop is out of touch with reality. The cheapest priced item I found was a 3 inch tall plastic trinket for $40. Get a grip! One of the employees kept walking around stating “it’s like a museum isn’t it?!” Like yes, it is a museum because no one will certainly be buying anything. If you do stop here and find something you like, I suggest google image searching the item to find it for at least 50% off online as I was able to do with absolutely everything I saw. Such a sad reality that a local shop can’t cater to the local market, but instead marks their prices so sky high that its cheaper to pay for online prices + shipping.
There was a lot to look at— you could find something for anyone. Would definitely recommend!
