I highly recommend Comfort Inn in Monterey. My room was quite spacious, very clean and comfortable, and the quiet was lovely and just what I needed after a long day. The staff is friendly, efficient and welcoming. The room rate was reasonable and well worth the value I received. I will definitely stay there again should the need arise.
We only stayed one night but enjoyed it very much! We had a first floor two queen room and it was nice & spacious with a unique & wonderful layout! The room and property were so clean. I am from a smaller city and loved that this hotel feels as if it is a bit out of the busier parts of town while still being such a short drive to the main attractions. After our long drive we were greeted by Katrina at the front desk. It had been a very stressful trip and her welcoming smile was breath of fresh air! I worked in hospitality for many years and am quite a stickler about customer service. Katrina has great customer service and is a great asset to this company! I highly recommend this property for many reasons and though I do not think we will be back to Monterey any time soon I have no doubt in my mind this is where we will be staying!
Rooms were updated and clean. The grounds were very well maintained and I enjoyed our stay. The breakfast area is small and I was disappointed we couldn't eat a couple of the morning because it was packed. More Togo options we can take back to the room would be nice. Overall I would recommend this property.Rooms: 5/5
This is my second time staying here. You cannot beat the value for this hotel anywhere in Monterey. The rooms are VERY spacious, clean, and comfortable. We have two children under two and we could easily fit a stroller, crib, and all their belongings. Many of the rooms have a balcony to sit out and enjoy the nice coastal weather. They even have a mini fridge and microwave. It’s less than a 10 min drive to everything you’d want to do in Monterey. Breakfast is included, and there’s plenty of options to choose from. The staff are very kind and the facilities are well maintained. Considering how much other hotels in Monterey charge and how many fewer amenities they offer, this “2-star” hotel is a hidden gem.
Was there for a training. The rooms had a cabin like feel with all the wood and fireplace. Ordered food from a Mediterranean place via door dash that was good. Rooms: Bed was comfortable, and they were not stingy with the pillows. Wish I could have had time to enjoy the balcony. Refrigerator, microwave, separate shower and tub, sink inside the bathroom and counter and sink outside the bathroom so 2 people can get ready at the same time. I was surprised I actually needed to use the fireplace. It made it a very cozy stay. Walkability: 2 min drive from the airport, so you could walk if you need to. The restaurant in the airport was surprisingly good. Food & drinks: They serve the standard breakfast. Waffle maker, eggs, sauges, yogurt, bagels, pastry and fruit.
