I've been coming to this hotel for years. I've always been happy to rate it five stars. I don't know who made a terrible decision to switch TV providers and drop all the major networks. No CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox network. This was a shocking surprise at an upscale hotel. I can save 50 bucks and stay in the Quality Inn in the future. They have all the major networks.
Clean, quiet, nice room, and really great night front desk clerk don't remember her name. Heading home had to stop for the night. Picked this hotel randomly - it turned out so good that I will continue to try this chain. Very affordable, so much so we were concerned, it had to be something wrong with the hotel or area. Our concerns were unfounded. We had a hot shower and good nights sleep. Rooms: The room was clean, water hot, and water pressure great. Bed comfortable, extra blanket was in closet.
The room we got was spacious, however we had a bit of connectivity issues on the TV for the kids. Not a big deal as we only stayed one night. The front desk lady was very accommodating to our request for a room. After driving 15+ hours this was a nice hotel to arrive to! Thank youRooms: 4/5
Please don’t stay there! It’s not safe. The front desk clerk was staggering drunk, parties in several rooms with loud noises way up in the night. I should have called the police on the front desk - we did not feel safe- stayed awake most of the night. Never will stay there again. Update: Interesting the owner never address the wasted front desk clerk and our dangerous situation- just the noise and maint issues. Yes, they did comp our room- much appreciated, but still. I’m still having nightmares. Rooms: Room was nice and breakfast was good. Some minor issues in the room- tub stopper broken, drapes hanging down loose but bed was comfortable and roomy
We have stayed here previously and this year it just seemed different. There is no maid service if you stay 2 nights. The breakfast sausage and eggs were warm and not hot. The eggs the second morning looked like pancakes and were heavily peppered. The first day items were lacking because a shipment had just gotten there and didn't get put out right away. The second day, everything was fully stocked. They do have a waffle machine, juice, muffins, bagels, bread, cereal, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and fresh fruit and coffee. One of the reasons that I booked here was their indoor pool, but our biggest disappointment was that the pool has been closed permanently. It is located near an interstate, there is a winery across the street and a Mexican restaurant close by that gives a discount if you show your room key. They do have handicap spaces and rooms. Prices increase greatly during the first week of August due to World's Longest Yardsale unless you book at least 1 month in advance.
Pool is broken. Ice machine on first floor has mattresses piled on it. Breakfast was instant eggs, pre-made sausage and dry biscuits and gravy. Shower leaked all night. TV had to be reset every half hour or so to change the channel. Employees cared more about smoking outside than being inside. Though, when we checked in, Ben was really helpful at the front desk. This place is fine if you are just traveling through.
