I always like to to say the staff at Comforting Hands Hospice is like working with "The Best of the Best"
Comforting Hands Hospice was started in 2010 by a group of local folks with a heart for providing caring, compassionate, end of life care to their neighbors, friends and families here in Western Oklahoma. The name Comforting Hands Hospice came from the heart of one of the developers who observed the compassionate care his own mother received from hospice. The hands of the professionals who cared for her stuck in his heart and mind thus Comforting Hands Hospice was born.
Our multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nurses, hospice aides, social workers, bereavement counselors and volunteers with over 100 years of combined experience work together to address the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and family. We provide care to patients in their own home, Assisted Living or Nursing Home regardless of their age or ability to pay.
We focus our attention of care on treating the people affected by disease not just the disease itself.
