If you are working on your credit do not go through this bank, because if you are only trying to open a checking account and you tell them no on the credit card account they will still run your credit anyway to see if you qualify for a credit card account. Even though you knew that you would not qualify so you said no, they will do it anyway, and it will go against your credit that you are working on.
