Community Eco Store

Wonderful, local, family-friendly shop! I am so glad I found this store for my family's eco needs. I was able to purchase a big Berkey they are an authorized dealer, Kleen Kanteens, and many all-natural cleaning supplies. It's a bit of a drive for us, 30 minutes, but was well worth it! The owners are so kind and accommodating and explained many of the products I was unfamiliar with. The shop is located on the main street in Phoenixville and walkable to everything. We will definitely return for more products. What an awesome store to have close by, highly recommend!

If you have a high efficiency washer you can buy laundry soap here that has you use 1/2 Tablespoon. Good for Mother Earth!

I came into the store and immediately knew I was in the right place. Steve answered all of my questions about air purification and gave me sound advice. He was kind and knowledgeable. The store is perfect- clean and uncluttered. This is the kind of store where you go in and find what you need, unlike other stores that overwhelm you with unnecessary clutter. I will definitely visit Steve’s eco store when I am in phoenixville again!

I witnessed the owners yell at a family because their daughter barely touched the pin wheel out front. It was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary to berate them for something so minuscule. I thought this store was about giving back to the community, not screaming at them for touching their sign.

Tonight, my child nearly lost a finger after touching the pin wheel on the sign outside of this store. She was looking at the pin wheel, attached to the sign, in the middle of bridge street, when the woman working there, came barrelling outside, screaming at my child to not touch the pin wheel as it was a safety issue. Well, my child, only three years old was startled, she jolted from the booming voice of this woman and touched the pin wheel. The paper pin wheel, being so sharp, cut her finger nearly to the bone. The man who I'm assuming owns the store, then came outside, cussing at my husband, in defense of the undamaged paper pin wheel.

I’ve bought two Berkey filters at great prices and always get great service and ideas from the staff, always kind and polite to show me around. Can’t get the same feel at a big chain store!

Great local shop to find all the ecological friendly products you need. The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful. They carry a wide range of products. I’ll be shopping here more often. I love Klean Kanteen products and can’t wait to try my Swede dish cloth. Another gem of a store in Pheonixville

Steve introduced me to wonderful products, such as a Berkley water filter that filters better than my old Brita. I stop in just to learn new things. They are a wealth of information.

Cool products and gadgets , employees working were not very friendly. Was looking to purchase a a whole off grid solar system but did not feel welcome in the store at all.

My hippy heart is happy here. The owner Steve is such a friendly, gentle soul. And his products are just what the earth needs. Want to be a little more eco-conscious but don't know where to begin. Start at this store. I've been looking for alternatives for plastic wrap in the fridge. Bought some beeswax cotton wrap for our house. Reasonably priced considering this is an independently owned/operated store. YAY, Indie! There's eco-friendly gadgets for home, hiking, office. They packed a lot into this cute little shop.
