Community Green Market is a 24/7 Food Market in the heart of the Pelham Parkway & Parkchester Community.
We are located at 2228 White Plains Road (by Pel. Pkwy North), as well as 2250 East Tremont Avenue (by Purdy St.)
Our store sells an exciting variety of fruits, vegetables, flowers, nuts, spices, canned goods and so much more! A stimulating variety of foods that you'll be happy you discovered.
We also sell fresh fish! Delivered daily and priced at 20% below market price, our brand new seafood market is located in the back of the store - a great place to cool off in the hot summer months!
Though we've been around for decades, we challenge you to come to check us out, meet Store Manager Angie and the rest of our friendly staff.

Their strong point is they are open 24/7. Vegetables and fruits is their forte, but they also provide a variety of grocery products.
Always has the best sweetest fruit. Love the seaweed snacks and miso paste.

The old shorter Asian man who works here followed me out this store and accused me of stealing my fish purchase. Instead of asking the guy who does the fish or asking me to see my receipt he just assumed that I didn't pay for it. Then when I asked for the manager the female cashier tells me She isn't there. When the male manager was right there in the isle. Not to mention the couple of times I've purchased fish and the lady cashier at the front has charged me a little more than what the tag says. Be careful and make sure to double check that you are not being overcharged when you are using EBT to pay for your items. I've bought too much fish here to be disrespected as a customer I won't be back.
This is honestly one of the best places to get fresh produce 24 hours a day. So realizable, always open and their prices are amazing. They have a seafood market as well, be sure to get there before the crowd. They also have some international products. I go for the Ceres juice South African product! Friendly service, line doesn't get too crazy.
This is my favorite Market ever! I have a supermarket literally around the corner from my house but I will walk a half a mile to get to this one! I almost don't want to write this review because this place is a small gem! They have an amazing selection of different things that normally people in the Bronx would have to go to Whole Foods to get? In their prices are absolutely phenomenal! Their fish market is absolutely great Very Fresh and great selection! The fish butchers are so nice and so professional and they know their fish! Trust me from the outside this just looks like a fruit market but it's so much more! The owner it's so helpful when you're looking for different and exotic spices and items for your recipe! That cashier girls at the front are always nice and always smiling never attitude ever! I know giving anything five stars is rare but I'm a foodie and when I'm tackling a recipe I always come to the community Green Market cuz chances are they will have the ingredients or better yet the owner will help you with a substitute love love love this place!
I am a visitor from Miami, staying in NewYork. I am telling you, I was treated with the most disrespectful from the two ladies that are checking out the customers. I ask the price for an item to me it was too high and thats my opinion, I ask the weight of the other items I was buying it was if I was asking a foolish question. I am the buyer I was sure how much money I had on me they start to speak in Spanish and begin to laugh. I know the other owner of that business before they sold it out it was not like that. Poor service. Dont I have the right to refuse the product or ask the weight of the item.
They have the best selection of fruit in the Bronx and the best prices in the area. Very affordable and fun to visit because of their variety of items.
If you're looking for produce that is pretty pricey then you can go here but for the same price I'd rather go to whole foods. The people were friendly and it's in close proximity to my place so I was happy with what I got
