The Community Health Endowment of Lincoln is a municipal endowment of the City of Lincoln, Nebraska. CHE was created in 1998 as a result of the sale of Lincoln General Hospital to Bryan Memorial Hospital, which resulted in revenues of $37 million. Local nonprofit organizations and government agencies can apply for health-related grants. CHE has returned $24.5 million to the community since its inception.
