This pharmacy is a blessing. My script has always been filled within 24 hours or less ! The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Worst place I’ve been
Great communication, I always feel comfortable asking questions, wonderful staff.
I have dealt with many medical establishments in both personal and professional capacities, and Community Health Pharmacy is the most frustratingly incompetent I've seen. In my ~five years as a client, I've become familiar with every error in the book. Prescriptions lost, filled late, sent to the wrong address, etc. I've learned to call for a refill well before I actually need it, because CHP's bungling results in prolonged unmedicated periods more often than not. I've tolerated CHP for so long because my prescriptions would be unaffordable otherwise. I support, and am sincerely grateful for, their role in expanding medical care to people of all incomes; I wanted to show that support with my patronage. It brings me no joy to denounce them so publicly now, but their irresponsibility with vulnerable individuals' health is too significant to ignore. As follows is the final straw that led to the writing of this review. I get my medications shipped via UPS. I have specified multiple times that delivery should not require a signature, as I cannot guarantee I'll be home to sign for the package. I have had periodic issues with CHP ignoring this request. This is problematic because the package is sent back to the pharmacy after three delivery attempts, resulting in an unmedicated period while CHP sorts itself out. At the last incidence, a few months ago, I received confirmation that "no signature required" would be added to my records and the mistake would not happen again. For a few months, it didn't. Last week, however, I once again came home to an "attempted delivery" note on my door. I called CHP on Friday, July 3rd, but they were closed for the holiday weekend. When I reached them on Monday, July 6th, I was told that the note was still in my file, but that whoever was in charge of shipping had ignored it. I was also told that CHP could not reissue the prescription without a note from my doctor, so I would have to wait until either they reached her or UPS sent the package back. It's currently Tuesday, July 7th, and CHP has neither heard from my doctor nor received the returned package. By their own admission, there is nothing they can do for me until one of these things happens. I understand that their hands are tied legally re: reissuing a controlled substance, but I am still once again without my medication due solely to CHP's error. The manager I spoke with was very apologetic, but apologies can only go so far when the mistakes are so unacceptable -- and so persistent -- to begin with. As of today, I have closed my account at CHP. I will almost certainly be paying more elsewhere, but at least I'll get what I'm paying for.
Great knowledgeable people who go the extra mile to take care of there customers, all around good place, if had 6 stars they would get it from me.
Good people, fast service even by mail, and lowest prices anywhere, even if you have insurance.
Most incompetent pharmacy I've ever encountered. They discriminate based on prescriptions & each employee has a different answer to the same question. Take your business elsewhere.
