Yazmin is wonderful, she made the hiring process extremely easy and answered any questions I had along the way. Steve G was an amazing teacher, made everything clear and gave the class everything needed to get licensed and succeed as a PCA. Grateful for the Community Home Health team in Middletown. 5 stars.
I have been with this company since 2019 and I love it! Sure we get some nutsy clients from time to time ..but we always have the option to opt out... I'm very satisfied on the whole and my experience has been mostly positive. Just have to be patient. I will be going back to school next year for social work. But I know I can take my experience with me.
My experience with this company was nothing short of amazing. Yazmin was great, kind and patient with me throughout the whole process. And Steven the instructor was great as well. Very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I was completely nervous about the whole thing but they made me feel comfortable, confident and encouraged me to put my best foot forward and successfully excel in the program and then into my healthcare career. I loved the whole experience. Community is a great company with great staff and I recommend anybody and everybody to apply and start their healthcare journey.
With transferring from a different state to New York community home has been such a pleasure. Yazmin was the first person I’ve spoke to and she’s so delightful and helpful with welcoming new comers. The instructor Steve was phenomenal. Great place! Made a couple new friends and is excited to the future with the company.
I’ve worked for Community Home Health Care for a year and a half I love all my clients I’ve never had any issues at work. The staff is great! I was chosen as the aide of the month by the company I was thrown a party today where I received a certificate, balloon, trophy and a gift card. Yasmin was great she had everything set up for me when I arrived. She made it all possible for me last year with my pca classes also. I would like to thank her for the awesome job that she‘s does and to also thank Community for the acknowledgment & gifts. I really appreciate it. God bless! Mrs. Johnson
I have been involved with community home Health care for the past year I was first of all recruited/greeted by the most informative gracious patient kind and hard-working most helpful Yazmin Rodriguez. She is a Middletown office representative and she truly went above and beyond for me when I was completing my certification - her positive attitude kept me motivated & I graduated with a perfect score on my final assessment. Now a year later after the pandemic and I’m coming back to work as a PCA for this amazing company, Yazmin is just as pleasant if not even more helpful this time around. 10/10
!!!This review has been edited since its initial posting.!!! If you’re wondering why the CC recruiting office has so many reviews, it is because during PCA training, before being officially hired or even being paid a single cent, Yazmin strongly encouraged us via text message to write these reviews. Those reading these reviews should keep in mind that we had not yet worked a single shift or even completed training. Why is a training class providing feedback on a company they have zero exposure with? Our training class was heavily encouraged to provide three personal contacts who would make “great community care PCA’s” for their employee referral program. Community Care seems to have a pressing need for workers. Yet, employees are left with little to no available nearby work. Be prepared to use an app to learn about available clients, many of which are over an hour a way and / or two weeks out. Keep in mind, Community Care has a policy of not reimbursing for gas mileage. *Edit: After a week of waiting for work, they were finally calling for work in my area but I was being called late at 8:30pm to work a 12 hour shift the next day or two. The majority of cases I was reached out to for ran very late and / or were 12 hour shifts. The location of the Middletown office doesn’t have its own parking nor is it very safe. Applicants and employees are expected to park in 4 hour lots. In my class, there were people who got tickets because of this. I was also unlucky and followed by a creep while on lunch break during training. Lastly, when I quit, management was STILL calling me FOR OVER A WEEK and asking me to work. A coordinator then asked me why I quit but proceeded to talk over me. She was trying to convince me to work but I directly addressed her talking over me and not caring for the reasons why I left. She hung up on me. EDIT 2: They are STILL contacting me a week after this review and wanting me to work. I QUIT, I have told HR three times that I quit amongst coordinators and the CC call center and nobody still cares when I repeatedly say how rude the coordinator was. THEY WILL NOT STOP HARASSING ME. TAKE ME OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM, I QUIT. STOP CONTACTING ME. Steve G was a great PCA instructor so it’s unfortunate that this company is so unprofessional and inadequate. The company only replies to positive reviews if you'll notice but I'd like to request a response to mine. Thank you.
I'm a caregiver and I have no problems with the agency, everyone is so friendly that works there! Keep up the great work
I applied with Community Home Health Care and Yasmin Rodriguez was extremely helpful. She slowly went through the entry process making sure I understood every step. She made my appointment for fingerprints, and made sure there was no problem. She texted me before class started to confirm I was ready to start Once in class Yasmin answered every and all questions and was always very pleasant and caring. She totally made this process easier, compliant, and most satisfactory.
Was supposed to have a phone interview with Shenanine. I rushed home just so I wouldn’t miss her call & she never ended up calling. I reached out to her a half hour after our scheduled interview and got no response. What an unorganized company. Take this as a sign to not even bother with them. If I could give 0 stars I would.
