The Community Volunteer Fire Company #1 proudly protects Fire District #3 of Franklin Township, in Somerset County, New Jersey.
CVFC has two engines, Engine 251 and Engine 253, the only aerial ladder in District 3, Ladder 25 which was the first of three that covers the entire 47 square mile township of Franklin. Our Special Operations Unit responds to confined space & trench rescue emergencies. Additionally we perform all rescue operations in District 3 with Rescue 25.
It is the mission of this company to protect the lives and property of all those who reside within Fire District 3. Additionally, to ensure a continued commitment to training allowing us to better serve not only our District, but the many mutual aid districts we are called to.
