Compass Bible Church Treasure Valley

Rude guy with pamphlet came to my door. When I said no thanks, he raised his voice and started yelling God would judge me. When I said I didn't beleive him he got madder and said I'm a fool. Would hope a church can be polite when going door to door but I guess that was to much to ask.

We found Compass online in the middle of the pandemic in 2020 and loved everything we saw! We are Idaho natives and believe God is bringing a swift kick in the behind from this church plant! It’s the breath of fresh air that we’ve been needing! Expository teaching, ESV version, all ages are welcome and involved! This church is growing like crazy and the leadership places a heavy value on prayer, fellowship and God and His word! I can’t say enough good about what this church has already done for us and we’ve only officially attended since June of 2021! Come and see! You’ll be welcomed with open arms! And everything is all online to check out too! Also find Pastor Ben’s podcast called Revival From the Bible! Reading and teaching through the entire Bible in one year has been incredible!

We really enjoy the teachings at this church. The one complaint is the children's program, we really wanted to call this church home but our kindergartener really doesn't like the kids program. She says it's extremely boring and hates that they have to be sitting at a desk most of the time. She's an extrovert so it's like dragging teeth to get her to go which is what we don't want so unfortunately are looking for a new church but we are hoing to eventually find our way back there. My husband and I really feel that this is a place where we could grow but we also want our kids to be excited about going to church too- which our daughter typically is.

Today was our first visit to Compass and it was a wonderful experience. The people are great and genuinely friendly. My kids liked Sunday school and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the expositional teaching of Gods word. I can see why this congregation has grown the way it has. We look forward to next Sundays service as well as the life group meetings.

Solid expositional bible teaching and compassionate embracing of our church and local community. They don't add or subtract from the Word of God and you will love the fun way Pastors Ben, Charlie and Keegan share their personal stories as ways to understand even better. Great analogies coming at you and excellent teaching that stays with you to help you along your sanctification road. Oh, and did I mention, Holly's teachings? She does a fabulous job for women's ministries. Love this church. Glad we found you!!!

Great church, really great children's ministry that teaches even the littlest ones straight from the Bible. Fellowship groups meet throughout the week which helps everyone connect with others in the church and makes it feel like a family

Wonderfully loving and inviting group that genuinely care about sharing God's word. Children's programs are also exceptional.

Solid expository bible teaching. Great people, friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a place to belong, this is it!
