I’ll give the good first… Sandy was so caring and compassionate, she was the one main positive… Billy is a used car salesman… my son picked up on that at our first meeting… sorry I didn’t listen… the other nurses that came out semi-knowledgeable but nothing as far as care… I felt like we were numbers on paper
Compassus took care of my best friend’s father. The staff were so knowledgeable and compassionate. Highly impressed and would recommend to anyone!
I have never left a review for a company like this but, this needs to be done!! From the word go I knew that the man who set up my patient was not being honest having years of experience working in the private sector and working with a lot of hospice companies.. I do not know where to begin. First they do not supply patients with adequate supplies, always out, or on back order. The nurses are very rude and unprofessional. Threw a DNR paper on my patients bed and said here’s her DNR make sure no one resuscitate her. Right in front of my patient!! On top of that wanted me to give her morphine for everything. Even a headache. Has her in end stage dementia, when clearly she is mild to moderate. So she knows what’s going on. Oh wait there is more. Can you believe that the nurse messed with her O2 machine when I wasn’t in the room! Couldn’t understand why the cannula was throwing so much air after she left. Looked at our cameras and she used her foot to change her liters on her machine. Like who does that?!?!?! I refused for them to come back in.no one deserves this in the end of there life! Please do not use this company for your loved ones!
We signed my 99 year old mother with this agency as she resides in a nursing home and developed sepsis with suspected lung malignancy. They are not visiting her at all during her last hours saying the nursing home nurse is making her comfortable. The nursing home nurse is the only nurse for 90 patients. I am so sorry we signed my mother up with this agency. Update 10/26 - Compassus called me today. My mom passed earlier this morning. They apologized to me and said they will address this with their staff. I was told that the hospice nurse that I spoke with said she did call the nursing home on a regular basis to see if my Mom was comfortable. It would have been nice if she would have updated the family after these calls but I am pleased that Compassus is going to take this opportunity to address this issue with their staff.
Best team! Love the staff!
I am actually going to turn this company in for Medicare fraud.
