Dr P was very informative and made me feel comfortable. The assistants at the front desk was very friendly and polite. Dr Puppala and his entire staff, Kourtni, Charmaine, Karen, Rhonda, the anesthesia team and everyone else go above and beyond to make sure you know exactly what’s going on and that you understand your treatments. The accounting/ billing team also fight hard for you. Kelly has been so helpful. They are all so kind, compassionate, and have wonderful bedside. I have been with them for a year now and though my treatments are a little more than what I imagine normal they have all always cared for me, and gone above and beyond to know my situation and work with me to find the best path possible to treat my pain and help give me relief. I can’t honestly say enough kind words for this group. I can however say I am fortunate to have found them. They truly care and that is all the difference in the world. I just love them all and honestly if you are serious about you treatment and preserving your quality of life they are the people to go too!!!!!
Wow what an experience I had. Everyone that works there is awesome they treat you like they known you for years a wonderful family environment. I felt welcomed when I walked thru the door, they answer all your questions and tell you all the information you need to know to make you feel comfortable…. It was a wonderful experience….
Made an appointment for lower back issues I've been having for 6+years. Was seen by a PA who advised to start medication and get a MRI. I was never called to schedule the MRI and charged 1,035.20 just for a "visit". Contacted the billing department and she stated that's just what they charge. It's more a one star because of the obscene amount of money these companies charge to do nothing. Makes no sense.
First the good stuff: Very impressed with the staff at this place. They are incredibly knowledgeable in the areas that they normally deal with. However, to my biggest delight, they were actually aware and very competent of the pains and complications that can happen with a rarely known disorder that I have. Elhers-danlos syndrome hypermobility type I also found them to be kind, compassionate and most importantly, able to listen to me as a patient. Also, Dr . Puppala found something my MRI missed and got wrong! Very much appreciate the attention to detail. A++on that. **However, I have found communication to be difficult in a few ways. Literally none of the PA nurses or the doctor uses the patient portal. So, following up on my questions for the doctor from my visits with the nurses has been like pulling teeth. Also, I've had 4 PA visits per 1 "procedure" which seems excessive... And expensive! I've spoken to the doctor briefly once when I got my back injections. I'm not a typical patient. I'm complicated. I'd like more access to the actual doctor. Furthermore, and perhaps most importantly, I was never told about the cost of each nurse PA visit or the cost of the actual procedure outside of what would be my normal copay. Yet, the billing is shocking! They billed my insurance over $1,300 per visit with a nurse! When I hadn't even had a procedure or even spoken to a doctor yet. So I'm getting emails and texts saying I owe another $100 or so per visit beyond my $50 copay. My specialist visits for literally any other specialists are around $300 for routine visits or follow ups with no expectation outside of my copay of $50. Then, $ 33,000 billed to my insurance for steroid injections.!!?? I haven't looked or spoken to anyone else to see if that's normal. However, I seriously doubt it considering that's the cost of a complicated surgery I had a few years ago at kennestone hospital. I don't know what's going on with the billing here but it's not cool.
I wanna thank the doctor and staff for very knowledgeable of everything that was going wrong with my back and neck due to a car accident. I know I’m on the road to recovery. Thank you for taking care of me
Very good first visit other than having to wait and no one ahead of us. Very nice staff!!!! Office nice but very very warm in waiting area. Exam rooms very clean and nice. PA was very through with a plan and communication with orthopedic doctor which is very comforting that they work together for solutions and not a pill factory. Highly recommend if you want solutions and willing to get back to a productive livelihood which is what we are looking for and hoping for!!!
I like the fact that you all took your time Guadalupe listen to me and ask questions in detail as well as Josh. I never felt rushed or ignored on what my concerns were, Or ignore where I was telling them I was hurting. I was in excruciating pain I didn’t have to wait a long period of time and I felt like they were really concerned about my pain level and getting me back to my normal Activities by ordering test and ask asking me questions concerning the plan they had for me
Dr. Puppala and his team have taken EXCELLENT care of me for the last five years. After four Back Surgeries, I had a Nevro Spinal Stimulator implanted and has worked wonderful. My pain level is kept low and I would definitely recommend his doctors to anyone wanting relief.
Dr. Puppala and his staff are amazing! So caring, patient, compassionate and kind. The magnitude of pain that I have been in has been unbearable at times. Their care and treatments have given me back my life again. I cannot thank them enough!!
The Comprehensive spine& Pain clinic was very helpful!!! They were very concerned and helped me understand about my car accident!! The doctor was very nice and took time to explain to me what will happen next!! I will recommend them to anyone they are the best....
