Welcome to the Comprehensive Vein Treatment Center!
Headed by Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad, a board-certified specialist in vascular and thoracic surgery, the Comprehensive Vein Treatment Center (CVTC) features a team of close-knit professionals who are dedicated to understanding your personal needs and to providing the personal attention that can make a difference in your care. Dr. Ahmad was recently certified by American Board of Phlebology (Vein diseases).
All patients at CVTC are treated by Dr. Ahmad using the most modern, technologically-advanced methods for the treatment of varicose and spider veins, in addition to all other venous diseases.
The Center offers noninvasive or minimally-invasive techniques, including Laser, Radiofrequency, and Intense Pulse Light (BBL-Citon) therapy. No matter what your concern, the highly-trained staff at CVTC will take the time to understand your needs and design a custom treatment program especially for you.
To determine an appropriate treatment for each patient, the physician will gather a complete medical history and perform a thorough physical examination of your legs. An ultrasound evaluation of the legs is performed, looking at the venous system.
In their ICAVL-accredited vascular laboratory, the physicians will determine the exact underlying problems causing the patient to have spider and varicose veins.
All of the procedures offered at CVTC are safe and effective. When the diseased and defective veins are eliminated, the rest of the veins function better. In our experience 98 percent of patients report elimination or significant improvement of their symptoms.
Over the last 15 years, Dr. Ahmad has treated more than 6,000 patients suffering from venous disease. Since 2004, he has performed more than 2500 venous closure procedure on the Great and Small Saphenous Veins with excellent results.
