Killed laptop with Pepsi. Took to computer Dr's expecting bad news and month wait. Owners dropped everything and evaluated unit immediately. Yes, was toast but was fixed up with new, reasonable priced laptop and data was moved to unit for no additional cost. Also as old hard drive still worked, fixed it up as external so have backup on everything. All in one day. Highly recommend.
Would never let anyone else touch our computer!! Ted is the best in the business!! Has helped us for years!! Highly recommend!! Ted's expertise with computers is so fantastic, his patience is beyond compare. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Will definately recommend and shall return.
About two weeks ago I bought a DJI Mini 3 Pro Drone from Ted & Brenda Kieper at Waukesha Drones. I received it the next day which surprised me as now days takes couple of days to get anything. After reading the paperwork and listening to Teds advice set the drone up couple days later. It was then discovered a problem with the gimbal so called Ted and he said he would have to make a call about handling this. He emailed me at end of day and said to bring the drone in next day he would check it out to make sure what the problem was, Brenda was very helpful directing me how to get to their shop on the phone. I thought I would have to wait a few days, but he exchanged it right then. He is very knowledgeable and had some good tips. The whole thing was settled fast and walked out a happy customer and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you, Ted, jv Janesville.
I wish that I could give 10 stars for this firm, but the survey only allows for 5 stars maximum. Nonetheless this company delivers the best service in computer repair that I have ever had in my life. It was amazing how my lost data on a failed hard drive was able to be recovered and saved on a thumb drive. Furthermore a new hard drive was installed, loaded with data, and the desktop was back in full operation. All of this great work was done in less than 4 hours. Needless to say, I will only work with this firm for computer services going forward. No one else delivers like Computer Doctors !!!!!
Super service: Really fast, friendly & thorough. We’re new to the area & weren’t sure where to go. We took our PC in with a couple of keys not working. Ted & Brenda replaced the keyboard & cleaned it. Definitely highly recommend this business. Support small businesses in your area.
Took my aunts laptop here last week. Needed to get a wifi card put in. They were done in less than a day. Laptop running great. Very knowledgeable. Appreciate the great service.
His expertise is outdated and generic. If you want help beyond "I don't know", "That shouldn't do that", and wiping the hard drive as a default fix, you should look elsewhere. Basically, your average teenager is more apt to repair your computer.
8/10/2023: just had another great experience with Ted at Computer Doctor. He revitalized an old lap top that was destined for the scrap heap until I let Ted look at it! Highly recommend Ted.
Dropped off my HP because it wouldn’t boot up. Hard drive was shot. 24 hours later it is back at my home with a new SSD, a cleaning and running a good as new. Maybe even better. Trust these people to do you right. Also, he’s a Viet Nam era veteran.
I was recently in a bind after my 8 year old CPU locked up and I was unable to run my business. I thought maybe the geek squad or some local computer company would be my answer but there was no answer when I called. Ted answered his phone and took the time with me to explain what was going on and offered me a few options without breaking the bank. His knowledge and experience with Pcs is a step above the young kids working at the big box repair store who just want to sell you a new one or dont know how to really fix it. Ted knows his business and gets it done fast. My computer is now faster than it ever was and I feel lucky that I found his services. Highly recommended.
