Outstanding service that was always warm, calm and accommodating. I highly recommend Comstock-Kaye funeral home in Peterborough. Funeral director Dean Gemmiti was super-organized, answering emails right away and always thinking ahead on our behalf. Family service counselor Lisa Fisher was helpful and patient—both before our mother’s death, when my sisters and I purchased a cremation package the year prior, and after, when Lisa organized all necessary paperwork for the executor’s tasks I’d need to carry out. Our mother like our late dad had specifically requested that her funeral be held at Comstock-Kaye. I know both of our parents would have been so pleased with everything.
Excellent service. Dean Gemmiti was amazing. He thought of everything - very thorough. I cannot think of a thing that was missed. Lisa Fisher, Family Service Counselor answered every question and provided after life care. Would highly recommend this Funeral Home.
On behalf of the Clarke Family, I wanted to take a moment to say a sincere Thank You to Carl Brown. Thank you for your compassion and your patience in listening to our requests and sometimes unorganized thoughts during the loss of our Mother. Although she was 91, she was our whole life, and we can’t express our gratitude enough. Thank you also to Dean, your smile and kindness made us feel us we were dealing with family. Lisa, you are a gem. We love organization and sincerity and thats you. With appreciation always, Nancy Perilli for the family of Rita Clarke - my Mom who you treated with respect and dignity.
Dean and the entire staff were compassionate and caring. Every detail was perfect. I couldn’t ask for a better experience during such a difficult time.
The team went so far above and beyond I cant even begin to say. The smallest of details, the emotional support; services offered, follow up and so on. I will never go elsewhere!!!!
I had my Mom’s memorial/celebration of life at Comstock-Kaye. I cannot say enough great things about Comstock-Kaye. Dean, the funeral director, and everyone involved were so compassionate and understanding. They completely understood the vision I was going for and were so accommodating with pictures, videos, tributes, songs, etc. I never felt stressed when planning my Mom’s memorial as Dean frequently reached out to me to reassure me everything was on track and I could not be more grateful for him doing that. They were amazing at creating new ideas I had never thought of before I.e flower arrangements and knowing poems, designs, and set up I wanted for my Mom. Comstock-Kaye truly helped a sad day become a joyous one and I will always remember the smooth, lovely celebration of life my Mom wanted and received. Thank you so much!
The service at Comstock-Kaye was superb. Dean and his staff anticipated our every need. They were kind and courteous; nothing was too much trouble . We can't thank them enough.
I would like to thank Comstock- Kaye’s team of professional’s that supported and, guided our family through the many decisions that come with the passing of a loved one. The team of compassionate and caring professionals took care of the details that are so important! Mom’s service was beautiful and everything was done with such dignity! We can’t thank Comstock’s caring team enough;. Special thanks to Sherry Gilroy for her caring nature and wonderful customer service! And to Bev who catered moms reception to the organist and office team.
We were so pleased with the entire Comstock-Kaye experience. The staff showed compassion and patience, helping us through the process at such a sad time. They were organized, professional, and strived to meet our wishes so that the Celebration of Life was very personal and honoured our Dad. Thank you!
They helped make everything so much easier in such a difficult time. Their service was excellent.
