OK to park overnight just ask the guard once you get there he will lead you to the parking
TRUCK DRIVERS - I usually take poor reviews with a grain of salt, but this location lived down to the reviews. If you are preloaded, even a day early, your bills will not be printed until after 13:00 of the day it is scheduled to be picked up. In my case, that meant staring at my fully loaded trailer for 26 hours waiting on paperwork. Tandems need to be slid at the shack, trailer interior will be inspected by the guard. The only reason I was treated with minimal rudeness was because I approached apologizing for doing “it” wrong with no knowledge of what “it” is and asking for help every step, proving my inadequacy. Because I was pitied, I got to not slide my tandems at the shack and an almost sincere take care from the guard. From Broadway, take 1st Ave around the corner. There is room to park in the street and walk up to the shack, but if you pull in past the guard shack, your trailer doors will be at the shack doors, possibly minimizing the bad attitude of the guard who only has to walk a few steps, bless their heart.
94 to exit 41. South to 1st ave. Take a right. Follow around til you come to a small white guard shack with red roof. Your load possibly might get rerouted to the warehouse up by the Wal-Mart DC. The guard may act like you killed his dog if you didn’t know your load was meant for the warehouse instead of the plant address on your BOL or Rate Confirmation.
Docks are tight in respect to there being not much space between the dock and the end of the paved area. You can't use the grass in front of you because it's a ditch the office even has a "wall of shame" of truckers that tried to use the ditch go straighten their trailers and had to get towed out. So basically you have to jacknife your trialer into the dock.. The office is all the way down on the right you can also park your truck by there when you check in / check out of the office . The office associates are nice, and loading time isn't terrible when Ive come here . The only issue I have with this place is lack of space to back .
It looks tighter than it is. It is pretty tight and unusual at the entrance. Turn in area at guard shack. Guard was polite. Pretty quick in and out. Not bad. Picked up at 2300, would imagine traffic during day time might make for a little bit more of a headache. All in all, not bad.
This place is crazy! I was told my trailer was loaded. I could drop my empty and hook to my loaded trailer, but my BOL would not be ready until 1pm. Security said he would call when they were ready...how hard is it to print bills!?
People in the guard shack are beyond rude, yard dog is just as bad. I hate hot chocolate now because of this establishment. I hope I never have to come back here again!
I don’t like it drop and hook I am waiting for 5 hours
Very friendly people Off 94 exit 41 go south to highway 29 make a right swing wide go down 29 for about a mile then turn right follow this road for a mile and guard shack will be on the right swing wide They do offer over night parking they are by appointment
Not a bad place a little tight getting to drop yard but once your in it has lots of room to drop and hook trailers guard was nice
