Great community art space with rotating galleries and artist studios. Front desk staff is incredibly kind and helpful and encourage you to make yourself at home. Free to visit, but they accept donations, so you can go that route to support community art : Oh, and there is also a great terrace/patio area.
Wonderful Sunday Jazz Concert in Yarmouth! A special afternoon of great Desmond jazz. ...in the beautiful Cultural Arts Center in town. Check them out for more special events. Wicked good...
Robert Nash and Staff are wonderful to work with, are artists themselves. The Cultural Center of Cape Cod hosted my art show, Fractals in 3D, in the Vault. Our invited guests were warmly greeted and treated to well-presented hors d'oeuvres plus wine & cheese. I was an active CCoCC artist and attended their venues until moving off-Cape.
Great supporter of the local arts. They have something going on all the time in the multitude of different disciplines, writing, painting, music, photography and more.
This is a neat spot! I loved my visit. Lovely artwork in the gallery. A neat cafe that I didn't buy anything from but I'd like to go back. The person at the counter was very friendly. And my favorite part was the artists' studios upstairs. They have lots of cool things going on here. I am going to try to spend more time here because it is a great place!
Heard there’s a food festival the 1st annual food festival or something. Admission is 25 for early bird and 30 for walk in. but just had had lunch elsewhere. Will come next year for this exciting event!
Super cool art in a huge space that was formerly a bank. The large bank vault looks like something out of a 1920's movie, and the huge, polished metal door is open and houses a smaller exhibit, while the large, easily 3-story main room which I imagined with long counters and bank tellers, houses paintings on the walls and a grand piano that looks tiny in the vast room. The side room had wooden furniture made by an artisan whose work was astonishing, melding old world craftsmanship with a modern eye to design, resulting in some of the most beautiful wood furniture I've ever seen. I believe that room rotates what it exhibits. The very best part of the visit was Kit Kat, the resident stray who wandered in and stayed! He socializes with everyone he meets and is so chill! After a short introduction while he sat on a desk used for transactions and to give out information, I talked to him. He eyed me and then jumped down to lie on the cool floor. He let both me and my husband pet him and never got testy. After a while he went to the door and gazed out. I asked one of the people who were running the the place if he was allowed to go outside, and she said yes. When we left and went to our car, Kit Kat seemed interested in something under an out building and was crawling underneath it to investigate - or perhaps have a nap! Don't miss this friendly guy if you go to the Cultural Center!

Over the years, i have gone to many events at the cultural center including family affairs, att exhibits, live performances, painting classes, etc. The staff are always friendly and smiling. Stop by the cultural center and see what's on display
I love the opening art receptions when all the spaces are showing new work and everyone is mingling. Lots of fun. The classrooms in the new building include studios where the teacher makes art as well as teaches. This place always has something interesting going all year round.
