I like the staff, Dr. Moed , and Dr. Kaufman but this place is money hungry and it’s annoying! To get the crown they told me a price and I paid, even though I felt it was expensive, $1200. Once I received the explanation, they included a procedure they claimed they did that was never explained to me! Now I need a tooth extracted and they want to charge me $1200! Again they need to do a procedure that has to be done called bone grafting and something else the insurance doesn’t cover. When I spoke an oral surgeon I used to go to I was told the procedure they are talking about is to prepare the area for an implant! We discussed an implant, because of course I can’t get a bridge, but can we just get the tooth out first? Dang!!!!!!!
First time here currently still here actually so far so good, I expected a bit of a wait being that I'm a new patient and there going to be doing a bunch of x-rays. Everyone is pretty professional and nice. Elvira hope I'm spelling it correctly cleaned my teeth and gave me some good info and was quite pleasant, explained things, and answered any questions I had. My X-rays were taken as well , a bunch but that's normal and again I expected it. Currently been here for about an hr now, had a 1530p appt and it's almost 1630p, while sitting in the waiting area I've heard multiple patients complain about wait time after they've gone over their appt time given. I do overstand everyone is here for different things so it varies from person to person but I will say coming from my previous dentist horrible Park Ave Smiles I'm a bit weary but let's see how this goes as I'm here to give the benefit of the doubt first!! I'm waiting to be seen by the dentist so that we can go over my x-rays.. I will update my review once I have completed my visit!
I am grateful to have Concerned Dental in Yonkers as my primary dental office. The staff is friendly and thorough. My dentist, Dr. Ndoj is conscientious, professional and takes pride in what he does. I feel confident he will always be honest about my concerns and patient with all my questions. The staff is warm and welcoming .I have been a patient at Concerned Dental Care of Westchester for over 5 years. It has always been a great experience! I highly recommend Dr. Ndoj and this office.
I want to say that this place is beyond unprofessional, but that is putting it mildly. My children and I have been patients of Concerned Dental for over a decade, but the quality of care and patient service has declined to a serious low. I have booked appointments where they have repeatedly been cancelled at the very last minute by minute I mean I’ve walked in and they have said oh sorry we have a problem and we have to close the office. I wish that was the only time that it’s happened, but no it has happened at other times as well. The latest and final offense came with me booking an appointment more than two months ago for my daughter’s cleaning, and having them cancel the appointment on me the very day before. Let me be clear. I received a text message stating that my daughter’s appointment was cancelled via text message. I was, of course, very surprised I said this cannot be happening again. I called the office and I am not exaggerating, it took me nine phone calls to get someone on the phone. When I finally speak to someone, she verifies in a condescending voice, “all we ask is that you confirm your appointment over text and you didn’t so therefore the appointment has cancelled and has already been filled. I said I only received one text message from you guys stating that the appointment was cancelled and yet again she continued condescendingly, that’s our policy. I will NEVER return again. Apparently, business is so good at Concerned Dental that they forgot about the customers that have been with them for a long time. Please BEWARE.
Dr Ndoj was an A Plus and so was his staff. Im 65 new to westchester and had two horrors with two dental practices to fix two teeth. my daughter found dr Ndoj i went to see him and he acted so professionally and you knew cared about his patients and profession. Anyone who is unhappy or needs a new dentist I highly recomend Dr Njod i was beginning to loose faith in people after two bad dental experiences in westchester. An excellent dentist.
I was originally attending the Bronx location, regrettably the worst years that I experienced visiting the dentist. Horrible location where the phone is NEVER answered and you have to email the front desk for any type of correspondence, it's an apartment that they transformed into a dental office. Do yourself a favor and switch immediately if you have commercial health insurance/dental benefits. The best thing I ever did was switch to the Westchester location where they have a parking lot and professionals working the front desk, who answer the phone with every call, submit proper paper work and don't take almost 2 years to get approvals by submitting work for wrong teeth. The horrific list for the bronx can go on and on, however, since deciding to make the switch, am beyond happy and satisfied Everyone in the Westchester location is welcoming and pleasant. Dr. Maksim Ndoj is the best that I've ever incurred throughout my years of visiting the dentist, he was funny, awesome bedside manner and was super thorough! I couldn't be happier that I ended up having him as my dentist and hope to be so fortunate that he remains to be. Thank you for turning such a horrible experience into the best one yet!
I have been a patient at Concerned Dental Care of Westchester for over 5 years. It has always been a great experience! I can't recommend Dr. Maxim Ndoj enough! He is a highly skilled professional that will go above and beyond for his patients. He ensures that my experience is always as comfortable as possible. Dr Ndoj will always explain the procedure step-by-step and will check-in with you in the process. I can always trust that Dr Ndoj will listen to my concerns and will offer care and advice that is right for me!
I want to echo the poor reviews of other patients. The people working at this place are unprofessional, starting with a rude manager called Estella. When I spoke to her to resolve an issue, not only she demonstrate very little logic, but she also demonstrated serious unprofessionalism by continuously interrupting, not putting any attention to what I was saying, and having zero willingness to help and find solutions. Notwithstanding their name, no person working there is "concerned" about their patients! If you are looking for a dental provider, look elsewhere.
I’m leaving one star because I can’t give them less… I’m am beyond disappointed with this dental office … not only are they playing around. With the money that they owe me for work I prepared for but they presented a treatment plan and were not truthful when asked why or of insurance covered a crown ! Never once was it explained that it was a cosmetic crown and that there was another choice covered by insurance they are running an unethical operation and I am looking for other clients to start a lawsuit bc they are getting over on patients. They owe me $2150 and are now billing for anything to not refund me. I will be looking for another dental office and notifying all dental insurance companies about their unethical practices
This dental office is run by a den of thieves, DO NOT come here for work .you will be robbed of your hard earned money. I am almost certain any decent review on here is fake . I haven't spoken to anyone that has left this office feeling good about their experience. There are a million better options for Oral care. Save your money and go elsewhere
