The Concord Police K9 Association has been continuously operating since 1965. Since the unit’s inception, the City of Concord has purchased over 70 Police Service Dogs for use in patrol and drug detection to help keep our community safe. The Concord Police K9 Association is a non- profit public charity recognized under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Tax ID # 47-1428319.

The primary mission of the Concord Police K9 Association is to promote K9 training, educate the public on how a Police Service Dog Team operates, support the needs of our active and retired K9 partners and honor our 4-legged partners when they pass away. The Concord Police K9 Association also donates to the families of Law Enforcement K9 handlers killed or injured in the line of duty. 100% of the proceeds donated to the Concord Police K9 Association go towards supporting our working and retired K9’s.
