Established in 1693, the Upper Burying Ground is one of the oldest in the Philadelphia region. The Concord School House, built in 1775, is an intact nineteenth-century schoolroom which occupies a corner of the Burying Ground.
The Concord School House and Upper Burying Ground welcomes visitors who want to learn more about this site, its history, and its mission.

In 2010, our site will be open to the public on the second Sunday of each month, from May through October, from 2-4pm. Guided and self-guided tours will be available, and no appointment is necessary.
