The Veterans Upward Bound program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, assists veterans in preparing for and enrolling in college.
VUB can help prepare you for success through higher education, help you secure all the financial aid you deserve, simplify and streamline the means to admissions and enrollment, help you understand how to make use of your GI Benefits, and provide you with timesaving links to other Veterans' Agencies. All services are provided at no cost to participants.
Veterans Upward Bound offers refresher and preparatory classes in English, Math, Science, Foreign Language, and Computer Skills at several locations in our target area.
Plus we have a caring staff, well-versed in Veteran-related issues and problem-solving.
The Concord University Veterans Upward Bound (CU VUB) Program is a FREE, non-credited, non-profit, pre-college TRIO program federally funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The primary goal of CU VUB is to assist, support and prepare eligible veterans to enter college, be successful in college, and to graduate from college. In order for students to be fully prepared for college, CU VUB emulates the college experience. High expectations are placed on students while attending CU VUB in order to support their success in the Program and later in college.
