Mission

Beth El Gibor endeavors to reach the lost sheep of the house of Israel, and the nations in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. Our vision is the restoration of the people of Israel to their G-d, and to their calling and the grafting in of the nations to the olive tree (Romans 11). We seek to broaden the messianic vision and experience, offering tangible proof of the Kingdom of G-d expanding in harmony with a Jewish heritage, and calling. Our congregation will share the good news (Betsorah), that Jews and Gentiles can enter into a relationship with the living G-d through the life, death and resurrection of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus).

Beth El Gibor endeavors to experience the heritage of G-d’s chosen people Israel in every day life and the “seasons of our joy” (z’man simchatenu). Shabbat and the biblical feasts ordained by G-d in perpetuity are celebrated at their appointed times, always in the context of revelation and teachings of Messiah Yeshua. Discipleship, training and teaching is grounded in the truth of the Tanakh (Hebrew Scriptures) and Brit Chadashah (Renewed Covenant), and inspired by the Ruach ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit). Worship embraces a traditional liturgical expression to praise and worship, focusing on lifting G-d up in prayer and praise, and song.

Children our are future at Beth El Gibor, children are raised in Messiah and a rich Jewish heritage, living out the life cycle of Jewish life from Brit Milah (circumcision) to Bar/Bat Mitzvah, from marriage to going home to be with the Lord. In this community, Jews and Gentiles learn to embrace each other in our unique callings, discipled in traditional Jewish culture as appropriate, embracing and implementing this way of life within congregational life and in our homes. We are commanded to love one another as G-d loves us, devoted to one another in brotherly love, bearing one another’s burdens, sharing with G-d's people and our neighbors in need, practicing hospitality. We desire to build covenant relationships with those called to the congregation.

We are called to have kesher (be connected) to the entire Jewish community, in addition to our brothers within the church body. We will be a light to the Jewish and Gentile community, living and encouraging the unity of Jew and Gentile in relationship with Yeshua and the scriptures in their Jewish context.
