Mission

We, the Board of Congregation Etz Chaim, will make every effort to ensure that each person who walks through the door has a positive and affirming Jewish spiritual experience. We welcome the range of gender expressions, sexual identities, and level of Jewish background, and invite each member to explore their Jewish self. We structure our community to enrich the lives of our members and our wider community, and to ease the transition of those who have recently identified as LGBT, as well as their family and friends. By combining our alternative perspectives, we will cultivate a cohesive and progressive community founded on love, friendship, respect, and peace.
