De Congressional Country Club is een countryclub in Bethesda, in de Amerikaanse staat Maryland.In 1921 werd besloten de golfclub op te richten om zo zakenlui en politici een rustige omgeving te geven waar zij elkaar konden ontmoeten. Herbert Hoover werd de voorzitter van de groep oprichters. Het duurde bijna drie jaren voordat alles klaar was. De Blue course heeft een par van 70. Hij werd ontworpen door Donald J. Ross en geopend in 1924. In 1989 werd de baan door Rees Jones gerenoveerd. Er zijn nu 105 bunkers en 5 waterpartijen. Op deze baan werd twee keer het US Open gespeeld. De andere baan heet de Gold Course en werd in 1977 aangelegd door Tom en George Fazio. In 2000 werd hij gerenoveerd door Arthur Hills. Hierop werd de AT&T National gespeeld. Had a chance to stay at the hotel and my husband played a round on the blue course. Immaculate greens/grounds! Incredible clubhouse/locker rooms etc. there’s so much to look at and see around the clubhouse and the pro shop has everything besides adult swim suits, they do have children’s swimsuits. Greens are very hard and hard read, as expected.
Played the blue course which was in pristine condition. Tom was our caddy who really knew the course. His reads of the greens were impeccable. Beautiful course and club house. Doesn't get better than this.
Amazing place and special place in the history of golf. Tee to green this is as championship design as it gets with wild green complexes. Only gripe is that I hope they add some fringe to the greens as balls often rest against the rough and are not puttable. Some greens have severe sloping that make running the greens fast near impossible. Turf conditions and quality are outstanding and the greens are smooth. Practice area is insanely good with a huge range and learning center. Obviously don’t need to point out the obviously obscene and opulent clubhouse with great food and amenities. This is a must go. Bucket list course.

Such a fantastic place for weddings! As a wedding photographer, I was blown away by how beautiful Congressional Country Club is! If you are planning to get married, this place is highly recommended!
Well. I couldn't play there but the condition was spectacular. Just wished one day I would be able to play there.
My mother is a member of this beautiful country Club. I'm impressed every time I go there with her to dine and enjoy the facilities.

Amazing venue for a wedding. I had such a wonderful time watching the game and relaxing in our suite before the wedding. The staff was great and the food was incredible.
Beautiful golf course in clubhouse. You think you are in a park-like setting and in some areas it does not even reflect a golf course. Great place to come to watch a PGA tournament.
