Our name "ConkyJoe" was derived from the term "Conchy Joe" which is a phrase original to the islands of The Bahamas. It was used to identify natives of European descent, part of the early migration of the loyalist and other settlers to the islands. As native Bahamian accent much to the delight of visitors to the Bahamas. Expatriates who lived on the islands for a long time are also referred to as Conchy Joe's.
