Connell Park Campground

We were greeted by one of the owners who was a pleasure to talk to. She gave us a really nice spot for the night. Everything was neat, tidy, and well maintained! It was a pleasure staying there. As we were setting up a nice ladyseasonal camperon a golf cart, drove up and offered us warm cupcakes. What a pleasure that was! People were friendly and the park was located conveniently near the highway. They also had full hookups. Great park next door.

The woman who greeted us was friendly and helpful and showed us to our site. Bathrooms are outdated but clean enough. My husband said the shower fan button wasn’t working in the men’s washroom. The park was quiet. Negatives, the price. In my humble opinion very over priced. $64.40 with hydro for one night. No pool or lake for swimming. Also, wifi was extra. We are from Ontario and for that price you would get a lot more.

Very nice owner. She so cute. The day we went there was a lot of rain, there was a lot of traffic, originally expected to arrive at 9 o 'clock, the result was 10:30, the boss has been waiting for us, let me feel very warm, we will still go

Stopped here after a long day on the bike. The manager sorry, I missed your name was super friendly and set me up quickly with a spot close to the comfort station. $25 for no services....$35 if you want electricity. She even provided some laundry detergent for me. Showers are free, and laundry is $2 each for wash and dry. There are a couple of restaurants A&W is closest within walking distance. Overall a solid thumbs up!

Roads need some work. Otherwise, nice campground as an overnight.

This place is great for kids, pizza parties, birthday parties! Lots of swings and playgrounds, sprinklers for hot days, right next to a baseball diamond, picnic benches and right next to an ice cream spot. Bathrooms on site too. Flowers surround one side of this park. It really is delightful for family.

Feeling very ticked off with the service I received and we didn't even get a chance to stay there.... We wanted to come and stay for old home week so i called to see if they had any sites left over a month ago and was told they were booked but would do some checking and put me on a cancellation list.... I was told if something came up within the next few days she would call me.... I waited for a couple weeks and heard nothing.... I knew the chances of getting a place to stay were getting slimmer and slimmer so I found an available spot at the Howard Johnson for Friday and Saturday and went ahead and booked it.... My husband and I both work so we didn't get away from Sussex until around 3pm or so and got up here around 5 or so..... We checked in and went to pick up supper... while we were getting supper I got a couple calls from the camp ground.... I answered the phone and was asked if we were coming to the camp ground or not? I was thrown a little off and said "no... nobody called me back so we are at the Howard Johnson" I was then told they had a reservation for me and had turned other people away.... and then she Lisa told me if I was to try and reserve again I would have to pay up front..... I was like really???? Pretty hard to keep a reservation when you don't know you have one..... don't worry Lisa I won't be trying to reserve again....

Large open playground with splash pad. Picnic tables and pavilions provide excellent shade and places to rest and watch your kids. Excellent for kids of all ages!
