I've seen Dr. Schmid since 2008 and only have positive things to say about him, Bobbi, and the rest of the staff. My first experience with Dr. Schmid was to get an emergency root canal, and it went very smoothly. He was a perfectionist in the process - something you want in a dentist. I've had zero issues with my root canal since, and his practice has helped me and my husband with routine cleanings, multiple fillings, and whitening my teeth. I absolutely recommend Dr. Schmid.
From my first call with this office, I felt empathy, patience, and care while speaking to Bobbi about my dental needs. Upon meeting Dr. Schmid, I immediately felt at ease. Not easy for me as I have an aversion to dentists and experience anxiety. Dr. Schmid was and is always very soothing, attentive, and reassuring, not overbearing and salesy. He has replaced 5 veneers, did 1 implant, and 1 onlay and is now doing my regular dental work and cleanings. I could not be happier with the service, patient care, and stunning results. Oddly, even when their busy I feel like I am the only patient. Now when talking about my dentist I start off by saying that I finally found the perfect dentist and office. I highly recommend Dr. Schmid and his entire team. And I love the music selection.
What do you get when you combine common sense with expertise? You get an outstanding dentist! With Dr. Schmid, you get a calm and clear solution to whatever has brought you into his office. If it's an emergency, you are prioritized and treated with gentle and expert care. If it's a routine cleaning, you get exactly what you needed...a cleaning! Not a cross sale for some other service. Not a lecture about dental health. Not an exploration of your mouth for a year's worth of future expense. Now I don't know if you have been to a corporate dentist office but I have and I usually left feeling like an ATM dispensing cash so that they could reach some quota. With Dr. Schmidt, I leave feeling relaxed, appreciated, and smiling! How often can you say that about a dental visit? I even bring my 90-year old Dad here. And when you believe in your dentist so much that you trust him to take care of your aging parents, you know you've found a treasure. Dr. Schmid is greatly admired and highly recommended.
Dr. Schmid is amazing! I highly recommend him to anyone looking to transform their smile with beautiful, natural-looking cosmetic dentistry. I originally went to Dr. Schmid 15 years ago... not too long after he was out of dental school. He was my family's dentist and I was super impressed with his innovative, dental skills and superior patient compassion and care. I was very apprehensive about having extensive cosmetic dentistry done on my upper teeth, but trusted Dr. Schmid with the job. Throughout the entire process, he was extremely engaged, gave me options, and helped me understand what to expect. Bobbi was a dream to work with as well. Her flexibility and desire to please made traveling to/from Austin for appointments easy and one less thing to worry about. Bobbi's sunny personality and compassion made each visit a pleasure! Any time I called the office, Bobbi took time with me and didn't make me feel rushed. My overall experience was incredible! I love my new smile and it's so natural that, although people notice that something is different, they don't realize it's my cosmetic dentistry...which is exactly what i wanted! I couldn't love coming to the dentist more! The front office ladies are always so kind and organized. They have a caring smart dental assistant. Dr Schmid is as good as it gets in every way!
I've been going here for years. Dr. Schmid is awesome, as is all of the staff. They have seen me for dental emergencies and even given my Dr. Schmid's mobile number for emergency follow-up. They point is, they care and go out of their way for their patients.
