The Cook Museum of Natural Science is now in its transition stage from the Cook's Natural Science Museum. The original location on 13th Street is now closed to the general public.
The new Museum will be a 60,000 square foot facility located on 2.3 acres in downtown Decatur, Alabama.
This state-of-the-art facility will serve the people of North Alabama and the Southeast as an educational destination and cultural venue for various programs and meetings. The museum will offer significant tourism opportunities and will enhance our region as a premier destination.
