This place is not as good as it used to be. The quality of the food has definitely changed. My family and I decided that we wanted Cookout today. I ordered the Cajun Grilled Chicken Combo with Onion Rings and a drink. As you can see in the photo, it literally looked like a Chicken Tender instead of a Chicken Breast. I was highly unsatisfied, but due to the length of the line at the drive-thru, I did not go back. Hopefully, Cookout will start back serving food as they did in the past and stop cutting corners!
So my issue is my ticket. I've been going to Cookout since year 2011 and my club style sandwich has never been a special sandwich. This is all I order from Cookout. I'm a regular customer of Cookout wherever I'm at and there is a Cookout. You all don't even have a chicken strip sandwich on the menu. I know for a fact since day 1 of 2011 the chicken strip sandwich was always club style. The sandwich was never special. I ordered a club style sandwich with chicken strips instead of grill chicken. Not a chicken strip sandwich add bacon and cheese. The food is always great but I'm not ok with my ticket. Both tickets reads the same but prices are different. I've always ordered this since 2011 now it's special. I'm not happy.
So normally this cookout has been great. I've been going here for years and rarely have issues. But the last two times I've visited in recent months, the same cashier on the right side of the drive through sees me. This time this person left me hanging for a long period of time when I said my order initially there was only one other car being served at the time mind you and they either couldn't hear me right or they don't know what a house style burger is. I kindly repeated myself multiple times as they asked me to and clarified what I was asking for down to the ingredients and they got it right and my food was fine. But this person acted like they had somewhere better to be the whole time. When I pulled up to the window they asked me to back my car up and pull up to the window again without saying why and didn't give me my drink for the second time. I've been nothing but civil with them and they don't seem like a bad person, so I don't see any reason for this kind of behavior. Especially when every other person I've been served by at this location has been responsive, kind, prompt and cared about their job. TL:DR, definitely come to this cookout, but avoid coming here during the late shift, or at least avoid the right lane in the drive through around that time.
Food was fine and got our order right but there was a walnut in my chocolate Cherry milkshake…. Imagine if I would have been highly allergic. Also the speaker was too loud and couldn’t really hear the employee taking our order.Food: 2/5
In my opinion the best fast food joint I’ve been to. Every time I visit this restaurant and specifically the one on S Main Street in Graham, I’m met with a pleasant staff and terrific food. The Oreo milkshake and cheerwine float is where this place truly shines. The grilled Cajun sandwich and regular burger are also usually amazing. Come back to this place at least once a week.
The cashier was so nice and friendly. The burger was made incorrectly and was cooked to the point of barely being half of the bun. Thank goodness I ordered onion rings on top of the trays two sides. It was the last thing open and my last stop for the night. If I hadn't filled up on sides i would have been highly upset.Food: 3/5
Best comfort food in NC! Open late at nights and the food is always made fresh. Reasonable prices but the place does get a bit busy around 8 PM and after.Food: 5/5
The food is airways served hot! Normally the order comes out correct... the only negative is the extremely long wait time in the evenings. They should schedule more staff on weekend nights to keep things running smoothly. Features: Masks not required.
I went today for the second time, Employees were very rude and unprofessional. I ask for my receipt, and she gave me the wrong one. I politely asked again. The female employee said oh my gosh. I won't be going coming back.Food: 2/5
The works there and so patient and so understand on trying to repeat the order back to us at the box Love the graham nc location cause it's employees know how to treat customers however the one at near holly Hill mall in Burlington nc is better on food and it being amazing. Kid-friendliness: Has the type of food my children love to actually eat from a place.
