As a child this was our 1 and only place for getting groceries but that's been years ago back when they were still on spring place where fresh & slow is now.. but even though we don't go there for our groceries any more we do still go get us a plate at the deli once or twice a week and always always always get a couple tubs of their spinach and artichoke dip. It's almost as good as Jenkins just cold.. awesome place hit em up
So overpriced it’s a joke! Basic bacon you can buy at your local store they were charging $17+ here. Hot sauce- $8 for a TINY bottle where you can buy big size for $6 elsewhere. Don’t get me started on their produce complete garbage and awful selection of items. People who work there looked at me like I had 5 heads when at checkout yet she could barely speak entire time she checked out my groceries. Weird people. Not to mention I had to bag my own groceries! LOL what?! This is after me purchasing over $300 worth of food. Whole experience made me so uncomfortable will never be back. Honestly, I wouldn’t doubt that this place will be history soon enough.
20230523 Nice place to shop and eat in the deli. If you like the taste of Velveeta Mac & cheese and also like the taste of canned foods with bigger portions than most places at the same price; then this place is for you. That being said the produce section with tags that say something like the lowest price isn’t really true because you'll pay a dollar less somewhere else. However, I do love supporting local establishments such as Cook’s so that's why it's a 4/5 for me.
It's a good place to shop at. WHY is food city owning cooks. And the name food city doesn't make any sense whatsoever bi-lo was more cheaper then food city. I love bi-lo why change the name. Food city I give you 1/and a half Star because you are soooooooo high on your stuff that's like price of milk and the people has to pay $10.50c for milk
If you haven't check the deli out your missing out. Great place to grab lunch. Food is always fresh, polite employees, all for a great price as well.!
Always very neat and clean. Limited selection of brands and varieties. I rarely find the specific item I am looking for and generally have to trade down if I'm not willing to go to Publix or Food City. Staff is always courteous.
I like the small town feel but I always get the impression that the check out ladies are scowling and more often than not the produce is bad. I’d go just a little further to food city.
Good store, been in Cleveland 36 yrs myself & its been here. Only go there every once in a while bc its not really near my house. But when I go Good friendly staff & reasonable prices.
A bit more expensive but clean and well stocked !!
Try the hot food bar. Good lunch at a good price. Cobbler needs work though.
