Cookeville Art Studio and Gallery, originally named "Cumberland Art Society" has a rich history dating back to 1961. The founder of the Cumberland Art Society was Reba Bacon was an associate professor of elementary education at Tennessee Tech Univ.
Mission
To own or maintain an art gallery, including a work and teaching studio, for the promotion and teaching of art. To teach art to its members and others in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. To further the interests of artists by its programs and competitive exhibits.
