Stopped here to see the waterfall, which is about half a mile down the Alice Knight trail. But there seems to be alot of other things to do here in this beautiful park.
Our group had a picnic in one of the pavilions. It was very nice. There were grills for barbecue, clean restrooms, a food prep area with a refrigerator and running water. The ceiling fans were nice. Well done Coonskin management . Playground: Nice playground next to the pavilion. Restrooms: Restroom had running water and were clean. Picnic area: Nice tables and the area was very clean with plenty of trash cans.
The trail I walked on in the rain in May was right by the water. It was a lovely, peaceful place!
Love coonskin park. It has a lot to offer and it’s not crowded and u can truly appreciate the outdoors and trails with ur family and friends. I like to frequent the park quite often in the summer. I love this spring time of the year because all the baby frogs are so cute and we enjoy catching and releasing them.
Had a great time at my family reunion...plenty of things to do by the river at the golf course it was great
My kids and I love coonskin park
Alice's memorial trail. Absolutely gorgeous trail. Many amazing rock formations and features. It's not a long trail but the trail is not an easy one. A lot of steep places to climb up but hey that's nature what's the fun in flat land
What a nice place! I saw families enjoying quality time all throughout the park. I came to enjoy the the Alice Knight Memorial trail and enjoyed it very much.
Place is big, yet quite confusing to find using maps. There are a lot of places to visit in the park and lot of adventures to carry on. Overall its a nice place to hang out.
I celebrated my kids birthday in Columbia Shelter. The ladies in the booking department are exceptional. I had made numerous calls due to weather forecast and they were always friendly and understanding. Shelter itself was clean and ready for us at 8 in the morning. Everything was smooth . Highly recommend.
