Local credit union dedicated to economic justice and financial inclusion.
Founded in 1982 by activists seeking a community-owned alternative to corporate banks, Cooperative Federal is a non-profit, community development credit union dedicated to social responsibility, equality, and economic justice.
When you do your banking with Cooperative Federal, you're making the decision to support these values, too. We keep our members' money LOCAL (not on Wall Street), helping to strengthen our neighborhoods and build a fair, independent local economy. Visit our website to learn more and see how you can join.
LOCATIONS: 723 Westcott Street, 401 South Avenue (at SW Community Center), 800 North Salina Street, 516 Burt Street (at Syracuse Housing Authority)
Cooperative Federal's mission is to rebuild the local economy in ways that foster justice, serve people and communities that are poorly served by mainstream banks, and responsibly manage our members' assets.
