Great cake, but as an English speaker that was unfamiliar with the types of cake, I asked a question only to be laughed at and referred to another employee. When I asked her my question about which cake would pair well with ice cream, I was again referred to another employee who helped the person behind me instead! Finally a fourth employee came up and I just asked for a few of the orange cakes since I could tell what it was. It wasn’t too sweet, I highly recommend… but be prepared to just point at what you want and pay to have a positive experience
I don’t understand. The regular bakery items are miles ahead of the other bakeries. But the cakes…..THEY USE COOL WHIP FOR THE TRES LECHES ICING! COOL WHIP! The fruit on top is canned. And the the lady that boxed my cake up scratched the icing on the box, looked at me and didn’t say anything. I don’t understand, this is shameful. Why are you cheaping out on the cakes?
My husband and I saw this bakery while shopping nearby and decided to give it a try. The bread here is much cheaper than some other bakeries I've gone to and the service was great. I'm not as familiar with latin breads so this may just be account to personal taste but we bought 5 items to try: chocolate donut, concha mexicana, florecita, bizcocho, pegaditos. The chocolate donut isn't as sweet as we thought it'd be but I actually like it that way...the other breads were pretty good, and the florecita was hard and a bit too sweet.
They have a wide variety of baked goods and a small cafe. I tried their churros and Magdalena treats, and they were delicious! I wanted a cappuccino but they were out so I got a small pre-made Starbucks coffee instead. They require you to wear a mask, and they practice social distancing. It seems to be a popular neighborhood spot for early morning coffee/muffins as there’s usually a line.
My wife and I saw it randomly on the Google maps when I searched 'bakery near me' while shopping at Patel's. We went and purchased a Mocha flavour cake for a friend's birthday and there's no regret. Amazing taste, Freshly baked and very loving, cute, and trained staff. Will definitely recommend this place, and infact we would be going today evening again to buy another cake for my birthday, since I'm the driver. Lol. Good job guys and Good quality.
I like the spinach croissant. it tastes really good. There are a lot cakes and bakery. The staff is friendly
Our favorite bakery in the neighborhood! They have a large selection of bread and pastries. Definitely recommend.
Very cool place i liked it! The pain au chocolat was a bit flaky but the chocolate made up for the flakiness . I also had a cream croissant! Service was good too, and the cashier was very respectful.
First time there today. Like always, my students seem to know where the good places are. We had a teacher who loves the chocolate cake from here and it was her birthday so of course we got it for her! I was surprised that it had tables to dine in, and they make smoothies, and have refrescos horchata, etc. Of course they have a variety of bread that you have to try out. The cake was delicious because it wasn’t too sweet. It was fluffy and moist. I took pictures to remind myself what I want to try next. The service itself was all right, I just think that it’s more a language barrier than anything so just be understanding.
Very rude and non cooperative staff. No write explanation of what their cakes content. Got a chocolate cake that was described to me with chocolate cream inside and had surprised when cut it with all guests ready for chocolate cake , to see and taste an orio awful type of cream inside. Manager said that all people do not know what a chocolate cake is and turned his back. Don't recommend the place .
