Thank you so much for creating three beautiful pieces of art for us. It has been such a treat to work with you and see the art we envisioned come to life. Our “Unchained Melody” Piece We LOVE this piece. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind! It's the music to "Unchained Melody," the song we danced to at our wedding 22 years ago. We really enjoyed working with you to design it. You took a consultative approach to show us the different sizes and options for the background. You created a prototype so we could envision the final piece. And most importantly, you listened and made sure we got exactly the piece of art we wanted. The 1-4-3 Piece This is a whimsical piece for our daughter. 1-4-3 is Mr. Roger’s code for “I love you.” We were inspired to create this piece after we saw the documentary about Mr. Rogers, entitled “Won’t You Be My Neighbor.” Our daughter loved the movie, and this piece will remind her how much we love her every time she sees it in her bedroom. The Metal Cross with the Dogwood Leaves After you showed us the large metal cross that hangs on the exterior of a church, we thought that Bill’s parents would love a similar piece for their home. Since we wanted a much smaller piece to hang inside their house, you helped us figure out the right size for the cross, and you let us personalize it with dogwood leaves since that’s the state flower of Virginia where they live. The care you took to create the tiny yellow glass beads in the center of each flower was evident. They absolutely love their “Mark Crossley original.” We really enjoyed our grand unveiling event when you came to our house to meet Bill’s parents as we gave them the metal dogwood cross and showed off the Unchained Melody piece and gave the 1-4-3 piece to our daughter.
