3 thumbs down ,,,,mismanagement of money ,,, people don't follow the rules. The water is cold in the shower,,,I only like that you get your own room with a bathroom. Loud place. The manager seems Scared to be there.
It's small but I can make it work for me
A friend of mine came back to California. I went to visit. I saw very little of the hotel. There is a pay parking lot off 7th, one block east of Los Angeles Street that is $8.00 for 12 hours.
Not a bad place to live only been here for a couple of months but it has its problems but all in all not a bad place to live
Very strange hotel....I got the feeling that most of the money went into the visually appealing architecture but none went into any of the actual guest rooms. The rooms felt trashy and smelled as if the previous guest smoked at least three full packs of cigarettes. When we switched rooms the shower area was appalling... if this is a four star hotel then I don't know what is...I have absolutely no intention of ever staying here again.
Great place to live, however I have seen a lot of staff come and go . Overall happy to call this place home, although there are ghosts here!! Just wish there was a community kitchen and patio to sit outside and/or smoke on. Keep up the good work everyone!!
A very historical hotel. Fariy clean. The elevator had a foul odor. Security was very Professional. There were ROACHES crawling in the hallways and in trash room There seems to be a mentally challenged people living there .The water is ALWAYS been turned off from repair needs .The elevator was very old , slow ad ery small.
I just wanted to say the only reason I why I know about this place is because I seen it in two Hollywood movies that I know of the first one of which is the 1989 film relentless starring Judd Nelson where he played the sunset killer and the horror thriller movie the first power with Lou diamond Phillips where he played the detective where he was going after a supernatural serial killer which was played by Jeff kober, there was one scene where Lou diamond Phillip was chasing him into that particular hotel back in 1990.
It's a cool historic building I've been a resident for almost 2 years no problem here. It's come up a lot since I moved in its a lot of business folks and students very good for the price per month, when other places in downtown LA are getting higher in rent, they keep it up and good management . Great place to get on your feet and be comfortable doing it
Jaime that serves me my morning coffee at the ground level of the back of the Hotel is all about 5 star customer service. This is truly a pleasure to start the day. David, the bellman is another example of true customer service. We love the Biltmore Hotel for the fantastic service.
