The Rangers and museum were very good. There is a driving tour you can take but there isn't much left to see.
We really enjoyed visiting here. Very well thought out center, and excellent presentation by the Ranger. Impressive fountain in back with a lot of meaning worked into the various elements used. We learned a lot!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
An awesome interpretive center detailing the siege and battle for Corinth. Really enjoyed the walk up to the center with all the art on the path. Gave a good visualization of what kinds of items soldiers left behind on the battlefield. Once inside, the 25 minute video is the best way to start your visit. Exhibits are informative and the rangers are very friendly with any questions of the battle/local area. Highly recommend this place in addition to touring Shiloh National battlefield
Really awesome, interactive history exhibit in Corinth! Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area! Make sure u don't miss the artifacts hidden along the sidewalk as u walk from the parking lot towards the main building. I have 1 young kid and 2 teenagers, and everyone enjoyed exploring this place.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Great effort in highlighting the many perspectives in how Corinth played a significant role early in the war.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
It's a nice museum to visit with probably the coolest video screen I've ever seen. The staff was welcoming and gave us all the information we needed. Admission was free. Pay attention on the walking path up to the museum, you'll find some hidden gems in the concrete. I would recommend starting the day here and then heading over to Shiloh in Tennessee as the two go hand in hand.
Extremely well done, artistically inspiring and informative. Very cool architecture - building looks as if under siege. Reflecting pond in garden area unique and moving. Film was pretty good with mix of personal and political - and good attention paid to slavery and the contraband camp ZERO mention in Shiloh film. Exhibits were well done but nothing spectacular. Overall a great museum that needs to be advertised more!!!
It is nicely designed. All of the displays are well kept. Plenty of park rangers to answer questions. The entrance from the parking lot is semi far, but it is handicap friendly. There is also a drop off spot right in front of the entrance.
Awesome historical site to visit while passing through.Visited onWeekdayWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Beautiful location!! I appreciated all the history and the artifacts. We should never lose sight of our history, so we can be sure it never repeats itself. But we can't live in history, we do need to keep moving forward.
