The Cornea and Contact Lens Institute of Minnesota is under the direction of doctor Brooke Messer, OD, FSLS and is located in Edina, MN. Dr. Messer is nationally recognized for her skills and expertise in contact lens fitting and management of complex corneal cases, such as keratoconus, corneal transplants or other corneal irregularities. While we specialize in the complex, we provide the same level of care and expertise to our routine eye care patients and their families. Whether it is a basic eye exam you need, or custom made contact lenses you are looking for, you and your entire family have come to the right place. We can offer ongoing care for glaucoma, dry eyes and macular degeneration. If you are looking for surgical care for cataracts, laser vision correction or corneal disease, our office can provide an objective assessment of your condition and recommend the best surgeon to manage your specific needs.
Our doors are always open for urgent care needs, such as infections or injuries. Please do not hesitate to call us or walk-in should you need these services.
At Cornea and Contact Lens Institute of Minnesota, we aim to be the premier contact lens providers in the region not only through our specialty contact lens services, but through research and development of new contact lens products. We specialize in contact lens designed for many corneal conditions like keratoconus, post-surgical corneas and other corneal conditions but we also enjoy fitting contact lens designs to enhance your quality of life, like multifocal and orthokeratology contact lenses. When it comes to contact lenses, we provide unparalled expertise in the Twin Cities and upper Midwest.
Our doctor and staff, focus their attention on caring for you as an individual and tailor to your individual needs. As our patient, you are considered family.
We also are affiliated with several colleges and universities and enjoy helping to train the eye care providers of the future!
Dr. Jedlicka is currently on a leave of absence and is teaching at the Indiana Univeristy School of Optomety. We are very excited for his opportunity and wish him the very best. Dr. Messer is thrilled to continue seeing his patients at our current location and you can expect the same great level of care you always have. Drs. Jedlicka and Messer have worked closely together for the last three years and have similar eyecare and contact lens fitting philosophies, which is the reason they became partners.
