Delicious food. Lots of alternatives, great service and a affordable prices. Cozy familiar environment. I will definitely return for another brunch. Yummy.Food: 5/5
Great little place for breakfast. Had the Corned Beef Hash. My cousin had the Lil Pancake which was bigger than my head I thought it was a Lazy Susan when they put it in the middle of the table. Lots of older folks having early breakfast which is always a sign of great food at a good price.Food: 5/5
So the first two times we visited here the past few weeks the food was fresh and excellent. Our last two visits the food quality declined dramatically. We have come for breakfast on Thursday or Friday morning. Our last two visits the hash browns were old and dry, the bacon must have been cooked a long time before serving it was very dry, the hash browns were not fresh and bright. Geez what happened. The over easy eggs seemed to be sitting for a while. The reason we kept coming is the first two experiences were impressive. What happened?…. The salt and pepper shakers do not look they have been cleaned out in a long time. I mean we want to come once a week but….. I would prefer to wait 10-15 minutes like we had in the past to get hot fresh food. I hope someone addresses this. Matter of fact we give it one more try and I’ll request fresh made …. If it’s not we will find somewhere else to go. I don’t want anything other than someone to review this and hopefully address the issues. Thank you
Typical hometown cafe. Excellent food! Generous portions! Eggs were done to order. All in the past had a great meal! Plenty of seating. Service was great! Clean restrooms.Food: 5/5
I really enjoy the atmosphere. Our server was very nice. The food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. We also sat there for about an hour afterwards. Having our meeting and everybody was very pleasant. I had the classic over easy eggs with hash browns, bacon and toast. You can't go wrong. Can always tell the place is good. If they can actually make over easy eggs. I'll definitely be back.
I am sure this place has great food, but they lack all faculties to effectively operate a restaurant. We arrived for Sunday brunch with a “very short wait.” We were told “less than ten minutes.” After a half hour, we requested an update and received an “I don’t know; the kitchen won’t let me seat anyone.” I explained a needed a firm answer because we had a flight to catch in two hours. She checked with the kitchen and came back with the same answer — “I don’t know and they still won’t let me seat anyone.” This is basic incompetence in the restaurant industry. If your front of house is being managed by back of house, and there isn’t coordinated management, you have a major problem.
This review is a tough one for me. Overall I liked this place but it is because of one item on the menu, the pancakes. They are HUGE and delicious. We got a blueberry one. We also got the omelettes, now they had good flavor but were small. Here's the catch, not sure if they were really small or just compared to the pancake they just looked small. Either way the pancakes are the star here!!!
Good family environment for brunch. Good amount of food for cheap price but taste was blunt. Tried corned beef and other brunch items. A little bit sharp test would make this restaurant a great place.
