Located in the Holland neighborhood in NE Minneapolis, just one block east from Grumpy's, the Corner Store Gallery NE serves as the real estate office of Aaron Neumann and Parkway Realty, as well as a hub for art exhibits and community events. In the heart of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District, the Corner Store Gallery NE originally housed a neighborhood grocery store - Smegal & Stokowski's (and later a vending machine repair shop) - and has been revitalized along a emerging corridor that intersects handful of artists, galleries, dives, restaurants, bike boulevards, churches, and is also kitty corner to Pulaski Auditorium, which has hosted small concerts and events for decades.
Corner Store Gallery NE was previously Studio A in NE Minneapolis (which just moved from down the street) that exhibited many artists, musicians, and events, including last year's Art-A-Whirl exhibit, "57 Princes: Artists' Homage to The Purple One." Corner Store Gallery NE intends to carry on this tradition of exhibiting emerging and established artists and musicians in NE Minneapolis, while functioning as both a professional real estate brokerage and as a space for community events and activities.
