The main park has been torn out all that exists as of 5/15/22 is the quarter pipes and the weird gard rail between them. That seems to only be skateable if you're really gnarly. hopefully some more gets put it looks like it has potential to be a fun spot but currently pretty much a flat ground area ATM.
Everything is rough and too big to squeeze in small area. There’s 2 quarters going down to an empty block of cement. Should have added them together but that would require a lot of dirt. Terrible planning. Wish it were better. My kids made a box and they take it out. Never to that park tho.
Hands down the worst skate park I've ever been to. Ramp angles are far too high, proper transition between ramp and ground inexistent, crumbled ramps of concrete and cracked pavement for an extremely rough ride, improper heights and geometries of features... this park was clearly designed by someone that knew nothing of skateboarding, nothing of geometry, and it's not hard understand why ever time I visit the skatepark there is nobody there. Fix it.
Could be the worst skate park of all time. Super dangerous, filled with cracks, potholes and rough asphalt. There is cracks right at the bottom of ramps where you skate down leading to injury. Little kids are always running through the small park using it as a playground. People nearby are always playing frisbee golf a lot of the time intoxicated and will throw frisbees right at you. Corning is probably the worst place you could skate: the skate park is dangerous and when you go to skate at any one of the mediocre street spots, because you don’t want to get a concussion, you get kicked out and told to go to the skate park. Don’t waste your time here or risk injury, go to the skate park in Elmira, Watkins Glen, or Ithaca.
My grandma likes skating here, but it’s very sad that they tore out most of it.
This is the worst "skate park" I've ever seen and I've been skating since 1976. Rough asphalt, big cracks at the bottom of the horrible transition and the big rough cement wedges. There is a distillery across the street, go there and get drunk instead.
Pretty sure the park has been removed and is now just a slab.
