We had a nice dinner here - service was spot on and the food was good. We all appreciated the generous chips and salsa with nice kick to it. We had a good cross section of food, flautas, chimichangas, tacos, burritos, etc. All were good and traditional. We also had margaritas on the rocks, frozen blended, not frozen and blackberry. All were as ordered and very tasty.
Have had great experiences here so far with both dine in or take out. We love the couples fajitas..it is more like for three or four! We get the fajitas for both dine and take out. The staff has always been great and attentive. The top shelf margaritas are wonderful! I highly recommend their food and drinks for a fun time. We bring our family here or order out and have gotten great food every time. They are quick to cook orders and clear tables. My kids love eating here. If you talk to the staff they will always have some great off menu suggestions too for more authentic cuisine. #mexican #glutenfree #kidfriendly #margaritas
The good thing about this place is that they’re never really busy or crowded. At least whenever we came it wasn’t busy which I think is good. Their strawberry lemonade is terrific and hot tea is yummy too! Their food is very scrumptious and very filling. I’ve come here many times and it never disappoints!
Friendly service. We had a large crowd and the waiter managed our crowd fairly well, he did a good job.
Meh. Admittedly, I only had leftovers from my wife's lunch that she brought home after work. Sadly this is how I get to try a lot of the restaurants down there because she works in Lake Oswego. Leftovers were from were from a "three taco pastor" combo lunch, and it was... meh. The meat was somewhat flavorful, but very mild, cubed and dry instead of shredded so they could keep it moist and it just had no zip. Aardvark sauce from the fridge helped a lot. Rice and beans were both very mild too and bland. Guess it was fine. Better than no Mexican food, but mot particularly good. I'd probably never go there, but I'll leat my wife's leftovers all day long...
Pretty slow on the Sunday AM that we went service was very prompt and attentive. Flavors were good, . I don't give it the full 5 stars only because there are more authentic flavors to be had nearby, it's a great value for the price, huge portions. The motif inside was very nice like an old who's who of classical depicted Hollywood representation.
I want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to Valentin. Not only was he a great server but he went above and beyond. I have a dairy allergy and am vegan and he was so knowledgeable about how to order and he shared with me they have vegan cheese for just such occasions. I ordered the spinach and mushroom enchiladas and they were amazing. Thank you so much, Valentin! We will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: They have vegan cheese and vegan meat alternatives! Dietary restrictions: They have vegan cheese and vegan meat alternatives!
Great dinner. I had fajitas. It came sizzling & hot! and was so good! We ate outside. Shared my dinner and still had plenty for the next day.
We visited on May 5 so needless to say, it was super busy. We waited about 45 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated, the chips and salsa and waters were brought to our table pretty quickly. Our server took our drink order shortly after. He always made sure to keep our drinks full. Once our food order was taken, we did have to wait about another 40-45 minutes but it was worth the wait. Although we had quite a wait, we understood why and we chose to stay for the wait and we were all very pleased with our experience so we will be back on a less busy day.
We stopped in for dinner and they weren’t packed. We understood there to be some staffing challenges so we patiently waited for our table and for the waiter to appear took longer than normal due to low staffing. Our order was rushed and the guy brought the wrong drinks the first time. The second set of drinks tasted horrible - like their mixologist didn’t know what they were doing. They got sent back. A coffee drink was ordered to try and smooth things over - hard to mess up coffee, but they did. It tasted like it was really watered down. Ultimately stuck with water. The food was ehh. Another member of my part got sick off of the bacon wrapped prawns later that night. My plate was okay but I’ve had better and more flavorful food elsewhere. The Decor in the restaurant was bland and uninspiring for the food. Very generic and sparse. I asked the waiter for sopapillas as I’m from the SW and made sure to clarify I did not want the dessert. I did not want them dressed. Period. What did I get? The dessert. Server did not listen worth beans and more than 75% of everything brought to us was not what we ordered. Would not recommend. Better food to be had elsewhere for the same price and with better service. This place is more for those in a bind and just needing something quick and run of the mill.
