I took my truck in because it was loosing power overnight. This shop couldn't find what the cause of this problem was so I recommended they installed a kill switch on the inside of the truck. They installed it on the tire well of the front left side, which is very unconventional. I also was not aware this would cause the trucks alarm to go off every single time I start it, and they never mentioned it. Also, i cannot leave the kill switch off or the battery will continue to die. I just personally feel that this shop does not have many electrical skills which is the reason I took it there in the first place.Services: Battery service
Good place to get voltage regulators. I've had to replace a voltage regulator on 5 or 6 of my alternators over the past year and they are my go to business. Also have a good selection and variety of LED light bulbs!
Good work. Not too expensive. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I had to keep calling for updates. I only got 1 update call to me the couple days it was at the shop. The rest I had to be on them. But no big deal. Nice, friendly. I'd go again. They fixed my brake lights that wouldn't turn off when the car was off, they fixed a battery drain issue, my cruise control works again, and it's been starting up better. I actually forgot to tell them about the cruise control. Good job. They also explained whatever else I needed to know and what options I had. The price was fair 270. Especially because my cars older n the computer wouldn't read it he even showed me so he had to do it manually. Pretty quick job considering that. Actually was ready a day before he said. Pretty legit shop. Even had a small retail area n good little inventory of various auto electrical merchandise. If you need electrical work done on ur car maybe consider this place. Take my advice with a grain of salt though. All experiences are different. If you've read this far then Good luck whatever you do with your car and thanks for reading.
I am so happy with their customer service. I came in and got my car worked on and fixed the same day. The technician was very interactive in how I messed up my electricity in my car and addressed the issues appropriately. I hung out in the lobby for a few hours and the staff was very friendly. I expected to pay so much more than I did. I highly recommend this place for anything electrical on your car.
Very very misleading place of business. Do not waste your time or give them ANY MONEY at ALL. Was told that they charge per hour which included the repair of my break light. Person who so called attempts to make the repairs promises one thing and then the “owner” charges another. After today’s visit I won’t stop only on this review but also I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Which I will make sure they stop doing this any client again. Response to owner after your last post: My work was not under the hood, it was a fix that your “ technician” assured me that it can be fixed within an hour which was part of your $45 charge fee. After the hour went by, when I called to check the status of my vehicle your “technician” said for me to stop by to explain it face to face. Your “technician” explained to me that he cannot guarantee the light being fixed and that it was 80% that water would go into the tail light. This should’ve been before commiting for your “technician” to work on my vehicle. A complete refund is try appreciated. Otherwise I have no choice to continue with my complain to the Better Business Bureau.
Misleading and deceiving ownership. Took an alternator to replace a bearing. Picked up alternator the next day. Charged $58.00. Part immediately failed as soon as it was reinstalled. Loud humming and screeching. Part was immediately taken back to this place. Bearing was installed wrong by owners own admission and housing was left loose. Because of the shoddy work, the stator was damaged as soon as part was reinstalled. Owner stated she could have it ready the next day. Called next day. Was told that part was sent to Juarez for repair and could not give me a time when ready. Called the following day. Was told would not be ready until following week. Called following Monday. Was told they had no news from Juarez. Called Tuesday, was told that the damaged stator was going to have to be replaced. This part would have to be ordered and would be in until Friday. Decided to just go ahead and buy a new alternator. Car was in the shop for a week by then for what should have taken 2 hours. Bought a new alternator elsewhere and asked her for the old one to turn in core. Did not get the core back from them until the following Monday. They have a 30 day guarantee. Asked for my money back for initial "repair". Was told that the only way to get my money back was to leave them the alternator. I had already paid a core charge where I bought the new one and was looking to get that back. They charged for a service, damaged my part even more and then they did not honor their own guarantee. Basically paid them $58.00 to damage my part and waist almost two weeks of my time. Thievery.
Very fast work and they honor the warranty they give you,my regulator wasn't working they installed a new one. And two weeks later the regulator burn and they just installed a new one ,everything been good now, I would go back incase I need anything done electrical to my pick up , I highly recommend it
I was at this place a year ago and had supposedly a wire completely replace that controls my power windows and i was charged $75. Well the same problem happened again and I took it to holguins and come to find out from this electrician he said the whole entire wire was never replaced but the guy that did it beforecoronado just spliced wires together and a simple job like that only cost like $30 at the most. He said he hears it all the time about people getting ripped off at coronado.
Friendly and honest service. Saved a lot of money bringing my car to the them. My other mechanic wanted to charge me twice as much. Very recommended
