Coronado Bay Urgent Care

I got a little wood chip in my left eye which left me with a scratched cornea. I tried an eye wash but decided I needed to get some help, I headed to Coronado Bay Urgent Care and was thrilled with the whole process. Everyone was spread out in the waiting room. From the receptionist to my Dr. Steven and nurse John, everyone was a pleasure and got the job done quickly and for a fair price. It’s how I believe a medical visit should be handled. We were even laughing about how cool a photo would have been with the illuminating dye showing the scratch under the black light. I recommend their office highly if you need help and wanted to be treating great. Thanks guys, John

Great customers service. Carolyn welcome me when I walk in. She was really nice, profesional and helpful. It’s a very clean office. Assistant John and the Dr. where really nice too. I felt like the Dr. really care about my illness. Also, my visit was really fast and easy.

I get sick quite often and booking an appiintment with my own doctor is so stressful. Not to mention its always 2 maybe 3 months out and never when I aactually need it. I came here because it was one of the few places that would take my insurance and it has been faster, I am never there for more than 2 hrs and the pharmacy is always right in the same little plaza. The staff is always very polite, the doctor is always in a great mood. Their customer service is amazing. Place is always very clean and spotless.

So so happy I came here! I walked in today with a fever and was seen within minutes. The facility is so nice and clean. I received excellent care from both the Physicians Assistant and the Doctor. The PA came in first and took down some information, and gave me a pillow because my neck was stiff. Then the Dr came in and said I had strep throat and sent in a prescription. They were both so kind and empathic. They were not in a rush to get me out of there at all and answered every question I had. I was skeptical about going to Urgent Care because I just moved here from NY and have had not so great experiences with Urgent Care there, but this place is awesome I already feel way better!

On vacation from Minnesota and did not expect to need medical care. I appreciated the quality care I received. The receptionist was helpful and efficient and personable, the nurse was efficient and friendly, the doctor made me feel comfortable and provided good information. I hope I don't need urgent care again, but if I do, I would definitely return to Coronado Bay Urgent Care.

Terrific place, we were going to the emergency room until it was suggested to go to urgent care. By far the best medical experience my son has had. He went in for stomach pain, only waiting about 20 minutes. The staff and Dr. were outstanding, and they knew exactly what my son needed. Always great service! The Doctor is a great clinician. He saw my husband and sent him to the Coronado Hospital as he did not like his EKG. When he saw me, in another occasion, he gave me the right antibiotic and made me feel well taken care of.

I used to love this place. There's hardly any wait. The front office girls are very nice and efficient. They have this rude male philipino med. assistant while he is taking your information he tells you what to do as if he is giving you the diagnosis. He doesn't let you talk and he rushes you through the questions. It is a Friday and maybe he wants to go home but he should treat the patients with patience, compassion and most of all respect. Very bad addition to the team.

This place is absolutely AMAZING, super organized, clean and good environment and with a big parking lot. Dr. Ortega is so professional and his knowledges are outstanding, and the rest of the staff is amazing as well. Best urgent care ever! I really recommend this place. My baby and I have been there couple times and it’s always a good experience.

This was an excellent, efficient, clean, quick care with a pleasant and professional staff that address my medical issue very quickly. I was vacationing from another state so had no primary care doctor. I would recommend if you need to see a physician, but are not in ER shape this is a great alternative.
