They've just laid down a new track over the summer. While exercising along it, you get fatigued and say to yourself, "I wish there was somewhere to sit along the baseball field fence." Which is not a huge deal. It just makes you wonder why the seating is so limited unless you're sitting in the bleachers that are directly in the sun? Park staff works very hard to keep up with this wide open space. They could use more workout equipment here like other places in nyc. We have many senior citizens who come here in the morning to work on their disabilities or strengthen their bodies. Playground: At the far end is a small area with sprinklers designated for the younger children. It's always clean, and I would say it's safe as well. Restrooms: Well.. I've been all over New York City, all the Parks Department bathrooms scream creepy. They could use a makeover to be more lively, but they are made to use and get out basically. Dog-friendliness: There is not a dog park here, so please walk your dogs elsewhere. Be mindful that our kids sit, play, tussle, and eat on this grass. Picnic area: There's no designated picnic area. However, there's plenty of space on the sidelines to set up a private picnic.
Beautiful place to just chill and free your mind.... learn the history and great for the whole family to come together and enjoy
Very nice. Had a wonderful time. Concert was live.
It's under construction, however, said construction has been a long dragged out process. Playground: Playground area is still frequent and stable. Restrooms: There are restrooms which are in need of much than the the minimal custodial work they receive. Dog-friendliness: I wouldn't suggest this park if seeking a "dog park". Suitable place if just passing through with your dog. Not exactly a place to let them roam free. Picnic area: Not that you cannot manage to eat within park, but the once designated picnic area has long been non-existent for years.

One of the best spot on Staten Island for playing soccer, football, basketball and running etc.
The bathrooms need to be fix. They are damage and dirty.
I love the field. Sometimes, I go running there in the morning and it is so peaceful and the sun looks amazing as it comes up. Also, there's some community events that happen during the hotter months that everyone should come and check out. You can find out about the events on the parks and recreation website or ask the parks dept staff when they're there.
Track is busted up, football field will ruin your cleats. This park needs the city of Ny to revive it, a lot of kids and adults play and use the park.
It has a large playground. There is a basketball court, so much space to play soccer, has public restrooms. Children ride bicycles and scooters..Also saw some parents training their kids to roller skate. Still more ground. My son comes to this park for soccer. I also bring them to play on weekends.
