Super small commissary. It has the basics but the meat selection was rather lacking. The cuts were thin and not well presented. I guess I'm use to Fort Hood. Would I shop here if I lived in the greater Corpus area? Definitely not. The HEB up the road is much better. The NEX PX is a much better deal in my humble opinion .
I am grateful to be able to shop at the commissary. The meat prices are wonderful especially in these times. Some essential items paper products are no cheaper than HEB , but overall most things I buy are at least a little less expensive.
Very friendly employees and they are helpful. Store is very clean and well maintained. Great job.
Best designated "Small" Commissary I've ever been to. They are constantly improving and ensure they are taking care of their customers. Well Done! And they're now open on Mondays.
Still the best place to do groceries especially for meat products, better prices than any other grocery stores out there.
Great Place!! Indeed, my family's go-to source for most all of our grocery purchases, shopping...and the best prices that I know of, in Texas so far. It is never crowded -- no excessive waiting, and everyone wears masks here so I feel safe from Covid, safe for family. I highly recommend shopping here if privileged.
It’s a small commissary, however it has a great selection. Best prices on dry goods, canned goods, coffee and frozen foods of all sorts. Not a huge selection on meat and produce however. If your entitled to use the commissary, do so! Also, most of the crew that works the store have been there for years and are friendly and helpful. I honestly enjoy shopping there. Clean and well stocked!
Still one of the affordable grocery store in South bend
For military patrons this store has most of the items you need. This is a small store compared to others in the system.
The Commissary is a very clean and stocked grocery store. It has restrictions on who can shop there. I find prices in line with stores in the city. They offer plastic or paper when checking out and will carry your groceries to your car.
