Welcome to Corridor Vein Center

We look forward to helping your legs look and feel great again. We strive to make your visit as pleasant, convenient and informational as possible. Your initial visit may be a comprehensive venous consultation possibly combined with a venous ultrasound, depending on your needs. We want to give you an accurate plan of care and answer any questions you may have. We want you to feel comfortable and confident with the staff at Corridor Vein Center.

Christopher C. Peters, MD

Dr. Peters is a board-certified surgeon who opened one of the first modern vein centers in eastern Iowa in 2005. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas, served in the U.S. Army for nine years, during which time he completed a general surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Hospital, and then completed a thoracic surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Peters is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.

Bre Lewis, RVT

Bre Lewis graduated from the University of Iowa in Ultrasound Technology. She also has certificate in mammography and X-ray technology and enjoys teaching classes at the University of Iowa in the department of Ultrasound Stenography. Bre has over seven years experience in vascular disease and is specialized in the area of venous disease. As a compassionate and skilled professional, Bre takes the opportunity to connect with and teach her patients about healthy living and vascular disease.

Julie Peters RN, BSN, MSA

Julie Peters received an Associates Degree in Nursing from the College of St. Mary, a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Masters Degree in Health Administration from Central Michigan University. Julie has both clinical and administrative experience in a vascular practice. She enjoys meeting and serving patients to make their time an overall pleasant and valuable experience. Julie is the go-to person for scheduling, billing and coding, insurance matters and practice management.
